great axe is the best for this but even hatched can stop this
great axe alone has
- Bloodlust
- Charge
- Reap
- gravity well ( after they use Fleche )
I personally use Great Axe and war hammer for this and once they are in the will I’m using my stuns and just ground pound. there is one player on our server I cant beat yet as he is just really skilled but he even admits if he makes a mistake its all over for him.
So the game is working as intended?
Stop trying to standardise all classes.
If you think a heavy armor user should have the same mobility as someone in light or medium armor and beat single target damage classes like rapier when using cleave classes, you’re delusional.
That’s like me saying as a healer I should be able do the same damage as a DPS player while healing.

Personal Opinion:
The easiest way to start balancing everything is to remove the armor types, leave them all with medium armor rating and light dodge.
Then add a core mechanic to the game that works like GA’s Bloodlust (but less powerful), which increases movement speed when an enemy is in front of you to prevent people running straight for hours while eating food.
I think it will be much easier to balance the game.

And you die, over and over. GA/Hammer/Heavy armor is over 70% of the playerbase and is beyond broken.
Yeah the rapier is an issue right now with how much mobility it provides right now. Bow and musket users can be caught if they don’t use a rapier.

a player with Great axe/ Hatchet have more impact in a war than a rapier/bow
because they made a build to counter the meta of great axe players.
Why would heavy armored dood weighting around 100kg should be able to catch light armored dood weighting atmost 80kg? That would be stupid…

that’s the thing. You just don’t.
If you can’t fight someone 1v1, then don’t.
Get your mate to help you to get to the enemy.
It is that simple. If you want Heavy armor users to be able to catch Light armor users EASILY. Then what’s the point of people using Light Armor then?
You need to have a good coordination with your skill, and your teammate’s skills to catch Light Armor user.
Or even, find the right build to fight the players back. Stop using META this META that and actually start trying out things differently.
And btw, once light armor users get caught by Melee with HEAVY ARMORS, they’ll probably dead within 2-4 hits. If they get caught by 2 or more Melee they’d die instantly.
Rapier counters bad GA players really easy.
You know the rapier players who mindlessly uses repost on you while you hit them with ice gauntlet or fire staff. Yeah that works against that GA who is mindlessly spamming LMB.
