UP until the patch 1.0.5, everything was normal, Game played perfectly fine ( except known bugs), I logged out at 12AM EDT for the maintenance and logged in the next day evening.
As I logged in I get the message “Access denied, you have been banned for cheating”.
In my 20+ years of gaming i have never cheated and never thought about it.
I have never willingly/knowingly exploited any game whatsoever. The game was linked to an 18 year old steam account that has never been flagged as cheating.
Reach out to chat support for help and was asked to Fill the Ban appeal form. I do exactly that.
A day later and no reply, so I contact chat support again and again was asked to fill the ban appeal , that customer service does not have access to discuss bans in chats and that chat support was the last point of contact.
It’s now been 5 days since I was banned and the ban appeal was never taken care of
Reached out to chat support one last time yesterday and that last rep was more helpful than the first 3 i had spoken to. He assured me my account was not banned because of a cheat and that all I had to do was " Keep beating on that door until someone gets up and answers".
I find it ridiculous that a paying customer has to go through all this trouble to regain access to the game. All I want is for someone to help me and others in my position out.
I want details on my BAN and not the copy pasted script sent normally.
Can a community manager/moderator please help in any way possible
Well they did hand out a massive perma ban that time because of coin dupe, they really clean up the exploiters… if its another source of ban it should be a day or 7 days only
I have never Duped any gold or any material. I was Banned with 10k gold on my character.
5 Days without any sign of life from support is utterly ridiculous. What’s the point of a Ban appeal
yea good luck, i been waiting 9 days to get a SIMPLE issue sorted but Dev’s seem to be non-existent, and contacting support and pointing out it would be a different story if they kept getting told to wait an extra 24 hours for their wages for a for 9 days or more only got me blocked from chat support
oh i didn’t get banned i transferred server but ended up on the wrong faction somehow with all progress reset. how easy is that one to fix yet 9 days later still sat here being told to wait another 24 hours each day
I Received a reply for my BAN appeal stating the ban will stay and forwarded me to the TOS about cheating. What kind of BS is that. Show me how I have cheated exactly? I bought duped items from market place? I used the hatched while it was glitched? Those are the only 2 possible reasons and the first is unwillingly.
AGS has some of the worst customer support i’ve seen so far. nothing to do with Amazon prime support.
Thank you for your post, but remember bans are only handled by the appeals team. Let’s make sure you’re following our normal appeal a ban procedure.
To file a Ticket, make sure it is as detailed as possible in your appeal to ensure it’s processed quickly.
Once we receive an appeal, we do our best to review and respond to it quickly. If overturned, the ban is removed from your account.
Things to remember:
All reports are manually reviewed by a human, and no part of our game moderation is automated.
Submitting multiple appeals won’t expedite the review of your ban. Additionally, you can only appeal a ban once.

Hi, can anybody help me with this. My Brother received a permanent ban for talking about Gold Sellers in chat. We where online doing some mining when people started talking about the broken gold system.
My brother mentioned that fixing the economy is difficult because of call sellers.
Within 2 min he received a permanent ban, appealing to this is not resulting in anything. They don’t even wanna say why he is permanent ban, only that it was against the rules what he did.
Can please some one look in to this???

It would be nice if someone actually looked a bit more into the matter and gave me more information on how exactly is it I hacked. I never hacked in my life and stand by my statement.
Chat support clearly stated that i had no “penality” yet I’m banned and Appeal was denied.

You are asking for information no one on the boards can provide you.
If customer support says “ban stays!” then very likely your friend isnt as clean as he makes you believe.
You dont know for sure, because nobody would admit being at fault for something like this.
Again, you assume I’m guilty without any proof whatsoever.
There’s simply no way for me to prove I’m Innocent when I don’t even know what they Cheat they accuse me of using. WE GET NO INFO WHATSOEVER

But it doesnt matter anyway, because to repeat it: everyone will always claim his innocence in public.
Pointing out which specific cheat or activity it was doesnt change a thing, because the accused one would already know it. You wont be banned because you encounter a bug that is beneficial to you, you will be flagged and very likely banned if you try to repeat this bug.
They dont need to tell you because its their right to remove players on a whimp, but in doing so they always need to be wary about the backlash (like you currently are putting up here).
It doesnt lead to anything, neither for you, nor for your friend.
Its not like we dont believe in your words, its just you never know what your friend actually did unless you share the same body and are always awake at the same time.
