Unintended Dodge Delay After Coming out of aim down sights at specific point after firing Bow

  • What is your character name in New World: Greepurd
  • What server/world did you experience your issue on: Dry Tree
  • Describe the issue you are experiencing: When aiming down sights with bow and firing a light arrow, if you come out of aim down sights as the character starts cocking the next arrow, there is a short delay of around half a second where you cannot dodge. If you stay aiming down sights or come out earlier or later, you can dodge straight away.
  • Is this a bug or an exploit: Bug
  • (if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: Dying or taking extra damage due to not dodging when expected. Especially during mutated dungoens where dodging void spikes or other mechanics require <1s response time.
  • (if a bug) Were you able to recover from the issue: Not really, just did a genesis M10 and died twice due to not dodging when expected.
  • (if a bug) Please include a screenshot or video of the issue that you have experienced:
  • What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: Equip bow, aim down sights, fire normal arrow, at the point the character starts cocking the next arrow cancel aim down sights and try to dodge. The character will just walk in the direction of the dodge for half a second before then dodging.
  • When did this happen? (Date and Relative time; please include your timezone) several times tonight. Tested 22:30-22:45 GMT time several times.
