I was in marauders - but apparently the covenant faction was still on my journal. Did those quests too and turned in and it turned me to yellow. Not sure how to go back because now i cant. On a fresh start server. Assumed once you pick a faction the rest would go away - not guide you to them

Had the same Problem today. I just want to complete all Quests, hope they can fix that.
I’m glad they don’t since the quest rewards for the first few quests give some pretty good blue items for those levels useable by different builds. I went Syndicate with my life staff + void gauntlet healer but the rewards for the Covenant, a light armor hat, and a life staff are much better for that build.
The final quest, the one that has you join the faction, just gives some materials as the reward. It’s not like you’re missing out on any good rewards by skipping that one.
The only thing that’s missing is a large “WARNING. YOU ARE ABOUT TO CHANGE FACTIONS BY COMPLETING THIS QUEST!” box that fills up the whole screen with maybe a safety text entry that makes you spell your name backward to confirm… for those who need that

As annoyed as I am I guess i get that this was on me. Good news on my ticket I submitted though - they said they will work on it with the development team of Lost Ark - so I am sure it will get fixed.
