I’ve noticed this is a trend on a lot of the high gear score crafted muskets, including one I was (briefly) excited to have found a recipe for earlier today. If nothing else, we should be able to burn a crafting token to change the attribute stats, as I cannot really think of any benefit whatsoever to having strength on a ranged weapon. I think this is an issue with some of the bows as well.
All of the legendary items are trash, designed by incompetent designers… They are not even aware what is the main stat of the item they were designed and giving them random ones that totally useless for their role…
- Intelligence on life staff…
- Dexterity on Hammer or Great Axe…
This game still feels like it’s in beta or alpha state, where they pushed in some random item/quest with random stats and totally forget to revise and clean up for the release…
It may have been a push from above where the managers really wanted to release it even if it’s in really sad state, but it happens in every industry… Release it and we will just patch it or fix it during the 1st year.
Just see how Cyberpunk 2077 was hyped and then crashed down hard, because it was obviously not ready for release with that huge attention…
