Unlimited trophy when?

Don’t worry, I’m sure they’ll figure out a way to sell extra trophy slots through the in game store. Give them time brother.

Why not allow players the ability to place as many trophies as they like in a house but only 5 can be active in each house they own. Players can decide which trophies to activate via the character bio screen…

Ya that’s why I think they haven’t done anything about it yet. I’m inclined to believe it will be behind a pay wall.

Remove it totally because majority of the players dont want to have 3 loading screens just for doing something. Is just annoying the player base and doesn’t give anything this limit. People prefer to play a more immediate game than Loading simulator

Removing the trophy limit would be good. Or they could let us mount all of our trophies in our houses, then select which ones are active. Our bio page that shows our 5 trophies per house could have icons for all mounted trophies, and allow us to toggle 5 of them on depending on what we are doing. Would be a huge quality of life improvement in my opinion.

My everfall house is bugged and lags like crazy, so I hate going in there to move furniture around.

I dream of when the next craft update allows you to combine 3 major trophies into one - same stat bonus as the combined ones even, but only takes one house slot.

Even during one of the New World Developer Video’s, even Katy (Live Lead/Senior Producer) expressed how frustrating it was to go to each house, remove and replace trophies between crafting and expeditions being a hassle and sometimes forgetting which trophies are in which settlement storage since there’s a set limit to how many trophies players can place in their house. How is it, one of the Leads at New World expresses the “dislike” of having to manage a plethora of trophies in their house and only to be gated by 5 per house while nothing has been said or if that QoL is even in the works when the community first hand has heard it come from a employee that regularly plays the game? How is this topic that’s been demanding some response get zero communication on the future of QoL improvements like either removing the trophy limit or increasing the trophy limit. The radio silence on this much requested QoL is daunting. The developers keep developing and patching more and more trophies to the game and we’re still stuck with 5 per house in 2023. When will this change???

Below are some reasonable suggestive options on how to improve Trophy limit QoL.

Option 1:

  • Remove the trophy limit entirely.

Removing the trophy limit has ZERO game play or advantage impact over another player. With the mass amounts of players who have every trophy and conduct every type of gameplay that utilizes those trophies would be beneficial to players to place all of their trophies within their house. Trophies add QoL for players to partake in all aspects of content without having to manage their trophies whether crafting, gathering or conducting expeditions by going into their house, removing and replacing them. Additionally, players can select which trophies to “activate” via Bio Screen if there were a increase but not a limit removal. (See Option 2). Sometimes it’s easily forgettable where players would not replace their crafting trophies with combat trophies when they go into expeditions and vice versa. Travel to each house, replace the appropriate trophy and ensure in their Bio screen, all the trophies are there.

Option 2:

  • Increase Trophy limit per household value.

10,000 coin House - increase amount of trophies that can be placed by 10.
15,000 coin House - increase amount of trophies that can be placed by 15.
20,000 coin House - increase amount of trophies that can be placed by 20.

Cut and dry here, if players want more trophies, they can pay for a more expensive house.

Option 3:

  • Allow additional Trophy slots to be unlocked via Season 2 Pass.

Season 1 Pass has additional Gear Slots that can be unlocked by completing tasks and leveling up Season Pass Levels. Suggestively for Season 2, additional Trophy Housing Slots can be unlocked just as Gear Slots through Season Pass Levels and purchased with Marks of Fortune via the Store. This would be a great QoL addition along with increased Gear Slots progression through Season 2.

I’m willing to bet, majority of players would be pleased with Option 1. Why not make a poll about some QoL improvements. Furthermore, I would not doubt with every New World Survey that’s been posted on the front page of New Worlds Main Menu that players have repeatedly expressed to increase housing trophy limit and nothing since then has been done.

QoL is almost important as balancing yet they don’t care too much, for me it seems that they are looking for a way to monetize this QoL we want.

One of them i Switch if i Need to craft something, mostly armoring

But the thing is i Never use my gather Trophies and Why ? Because I don’t know how to handle all this stuff…

If I farm, i don’t farm only iron or chop trees I gathering all types and that’s the problem I can’t switch every time all gathering trophies with Combat trophies that’s insane…

And i would love they focus a little more these types of problems because that’s a huge win for all

Not having unlimited trophy on top tier house is just stupid. And next patch we’ll have ANOTHER trophy to deal with.

Agreed. My suggestion months ago was having a “master” trophy. It combines the benefits of all three trophies in one, allowing you to have 5 up in each house (if AGS isn’t going to up the limit) receiving the benefits of every trophy.

Imagine having tabs on equipment pane…where you could put/equip all your trophies, gathering/refining/crafting gear and never have to worry about it again. They are always active. I think this is a great idea, but other mmo’s have already implemented and we want square wheels.

I have Armoring, Cooking, and Luck up all the time, and then swap out the trophies for mutated expeditions. This week was a pain because there were three enemy types in the mutations - Ancient, Corrupted, Lost. In theory, I would have been going to each house every time I wanted to do a different dungeon. In practice, I forgot completely and ran half the week with Angry Earth and Corrupted up.

The reason I leave the crafting trophies up is that I could be asked to craft at any time and I don’t like adding 3 loading screens to the wait.

If we had the option to change trophies from the Bio screen, I would utilise all the gathering trophies. My daughter “wastes” a trophy slot on the Major Beast trophy just because it looks cool, so it would be nice if we could have them up and just choose which ones were active.

Option 2.5: Pay for a Trophy Room expansion (basement) to your house(s) where you can display them all and add some purely cosmetic ‘flex’ trophies to the game, too.

Yeah you are right. Why does dev limit the trophy per house?. It don’t make sense
