I disagree with all these threads popping up.
Every account was given TWO server/world transfers.
Use those and go to one of the lower populated, new servers to help balance server population. Stop trying to make the high pop servers even more high pop.
Server queues are already going to be bad come tomorrow. Stop trying to make it worse by adding to it.
You realize SO many people are stuck not playing with friends right? Personal example: I am an officer in a company and I have 4-5 friends that are coming back, but havenāt logged into the game in 4-6 months. They are trapped on another server and canāt migrate over to play with me and our company. We arenāt uprooting a whole company to go to a new server for 4-5 people. However, those 4-5 people can help flesh out our army.
Its obnoxious and there are lots of cases like this for returning players who are stuck not moving over to play with friends.
I guess the question begsā¦ how did you and your friends end up on different servers then? If yāall were on the same server before you or they took a break, youād be on the same server now.
In any case, that is probably irrelevant. I still vote to keep the current locked servers locked. Server queues come tomorrow are going to be nuts, no need to add to them when players have the choice to not just server & world transfer, but can region transfer as well.
Because a lot of merges have happened since then and a lot of servers have died? This is kind of a silly question.
Theyād still be on the same server, theyād still be able to play togetherā¦ itās not silly, its a genuine question.
How can they not play together if they created on the same server, and the server mergers pushed them all onto the same server anyway?
itās not like they broke apart a server, some went to Server A, others went to Server B. That isnāt how the mergers workedā¦ likeā¦ at all.
A lot of servers died or got destroyed by mega/elite companies, so people transferred off. That is my point. Example, I was on Orofena, it was taken over by Egoād (literally the whole map) and the PVP population fled. I have friends stuck over there from 3-4 months ago before it was Ego dominated.

Why exacerbate the server problem weāre going to have come tomorrow by transferring to a high pop server? Why not transfer to a lower pop server? Farming would be easy, wars would be easy, and the more people do this, the more people will come to that server - alleviating the server queues weāre going to have tomorrow.
Why do I feel like the only one with foresight on this subject? Do yāall want 12 hour queues again like we had last year?
If you have an established company, you arenāt moving 50 players to gain 4. That is not how that works.
Also, if you quit 3-4 months ago you most likely donāt have a transfer.
Yes you do, every account was given two transfers, one of which can be used to do a full on region transfer.
Also, moving 4 people is no different than moving 100. Communication is key. If you lose some in the process, itās because you canāt convince everyone, just the way things are.
I remember moving a full WoW guild from one server to another, not once, but twice. We only lost 1 person during the move because they were on vacation when the call went out. Communication made it simple.
I already transferred TWICE in the past month to get away from locked servers in order to get friends back together. But Maramma locked without warning, and we couldnāt get everybody back in time. Iām not about to transfer a third time, and ask everybody else who just came back to transfer again, just so I can end up on another server thatāll be locked without warning soon.
AGS need to realize people want to come back to play with their friends, not to be alone stranded. MMOās are fun because you get to play with friends and guildies. Iāve been playing this transfer game too many times already and Iāve only been back for less than 2 months. All just to get away from locked servers so we could get the band back together.
Also I picked Maramma because when transferring, every single server available on the server list said MED. I didnāt pick it because itās a high pop server or want to stack, or whatever people think. Itās not players fault to transfer to an available MED pop server as itās listed on the server selection screen.

So yeah please unlock servers for a bit to let us get friends back together. Itās the only reason theyāre even considering coming back, so they could play NW with friends again. Thank you.
