Of course! I found that information out the hard way. Iām used to just clicking through spear users and then this one spear user had the audacity to hand me my own ass on a platter in OPR. When I saw the perks I quickly understood why and now I carry a little bit of PTSD on me every time I go in on people using spears.
About that curve⦠Iām not sure if thatās just the client trying to sync to the server and just adjusting the visuals to show that arrow hit has you but you had moved on your client from where the server had registered that hit⦠or something else.
For oprās some sneaky GAās would actually swing through the mining areas to see if they could catch some unsuspecting pverās and if not just to help backcap for the team.
Yeah I know Iāve thought about that too. Itās just so annoying, Iām at the cover already and Iām still getting hit. If I only recorded my games I wouldāve posted it here.

I do think thatās a client sync issue. Iāve had it happen to me before as well.
Tbh all people need to do is remember this is an mmo and itās based more on group pvp than individual pvp and that some individual builds will always be better then others and thatās not broken thatās just what you get when you pvp in an mmo.
can we stop saying the bow hitbox is huge when it just looks big cuz of the shitty servers and itās constant desync. ask for better servers not for nerfs.
theyāre hitting ur ghostās hitbox. if they try to hit ur actual hitbox, theyāll end up missing because of that same desync
I believe Rapier is the problem. I used to play life staff/rapier so I would know.
The problem with bow isnāt remotely close to due to the damage it does or anything like that. Main problem with range weapon as a whole, is combination of light armor and range. (And rapier on top of it.) The ability to kite others is frustrating experience with little ways to counter. So of course players wonāt mind exploding them when they reach them. Thatās why range is the meta. It has been meta since the release of the game. Catching people has always been a annoying experience.

Evade has iframes im sure because you can reap during evade and it wont register most times. So its roll then reap if you can afford the stam

Bow players use secondary weapons and light and kite forever. Who is catching them besides another ranged player or schitzo?
most bow players suck, they play it for easy points. if i go for bow player 90% run away or they get insta killed.
there are no more good bow players then
before.
but random shots hurt low lvl players who dont heal with pots , they run around with low 30% hp all day long , always play low con builds that are hard to pull off, if they get shot from more then 1 player they cant seem to hide and by now you should know every corner on the map where u can hide.
why chase someone who dont wanna get caught.
opr is caping game , there will always be people going for the cap, kill them.

If you didnāt notice, I acknowledged that and I already know it. I said itās frustrating and annoying to get hit when you wouldnāt otherwise. Not only that after the hitbox buff itās causing these issues. They canāt seem to find the line in-between of a truckās hitbox and missing inbetween the legs.
Bows did used to hit like a howitzer after the tweak they did, not so bad now. Certain perks make them very nasty if you aint in heavy. Muskets can be the same.
V difficult to balance anything in this game, attack skills bound to weapon type, far to many perks to manage effectively if you ask me.
