I would be open to a wipe because of the dupe wealth that still exists today. However, certain aspects to the economy model would need to be addressed first, namely company wealth generation and how it is distributed.
I’ve put together my thoughts on what a reimagined Company, City/Territory process would look like here:

i’ve been playing mmorpg for the last 20 years, and pretty hardcore on that. I’ve been on the duper/cheater/whatever for win side and also on the side of people trying to play a fair game.
That being saing, there is NOTHING WORST than doing a wipe.
A clean server is everything a cheater needs to profit more, this is a true fact even before the chinese gold farms.
Make a new non transferable server?GREAT, people will need currency even more.
its always the same, and trust me, any change only does make shit worst ![]()
While there are only a handfull of employees tryign to stop cheating (or not even that), there are hundreds of people perfecting their macro tools, bots, and all kind of auto-grinding that are top notch compared from 1 year ago.
People don’t like that idea because they invested a lot of time but would be nice if they do some new PVP servers. I will be waiting for that day
No need for wipe:
just open a new server with no tranfert allowed.
If people want to join a fresh experience, they can without annoying others
Just opening a new server with no transfer allowed does not change anything…
But… a new PVP Server on each region with no flag system. No transfer allowed. Balanced for PVP based on skill over GS would be refreshing for some players.
Personally I just think it would be funny to see people try to get refunds from G2G.
Idk, why do people play Tarkov or Rust?
Matter of fact, Rust actually shits on this quote.
Nope. Not in favor of any server wipes.
What I AM in favor of is expanded lands. More Map-areas, resource, etc.etc.
Are those mmos now or something?
with questlines and achievements and difficult to obtain gear? What you just said is soooo stupid
Are you implying that Rust isn’t difficult? ![]()
Anyway the point was
Millions of people fucking do ![]()
Bro those games are SURVIVAL games not mmos with long term content. VERY big difference. I dont care if rust is “difficult”, its a completely different game ![]()
![]()
It doesn’t matter if it’s an MMO or a damn indie rpg.
There are people out there that don’t care about server wipes was my point. Literally millions of them.
Bro mmos have long term content and grind that no one wants to repeat multiple times ![]()
survival games like tarkov dont have anything like that… if a survival game didnt have frequent resets it would get boring while an mmo just gets expansions and updates to not be boring
this would 100% kill most of the remaining playerbase for a gamble of new players that might not even come. Imagine grinding and getting 200 on trade skills, grinding gold for bis bis gear, grinding to get better at pvp, all for it just to go down the drain because AGS thought it MIGHT bring new players. Fresh start servers however I am completely for. But dont make EVERYONE reset just because of few people dont like the current state of the game.
yep, thats what killed 7 days to die for me and most of my friends, every alpha they make u reset everything and make a new world, which although it was infuriating at first, we did it. But then we had to do it again, then we decided maybe this wasnt worth our time if it was just gonna throw it all away in a few months. only games where reseting is common place are games where its not that big of a grind. I have over 2k hours on new world and played since launch and I still have things I need to grind for, things I need to work on and improve skill wise. I already grinded so much to get the gear and skill I have now, reseting would undermine all that work that Ive done, and still need to do.
2k and still u have things to grind… your opinion its funny cuz they are ppl who say there is nothing to do in this game xd You are real MMO player xd
My suggestions remove companies from using territory ownership to create an unfair advantage. Everything else is the same minus the mechanic of having the territory owner determine what buffs and tiers of crafting are prioritized. If you as a player want a T5 station then finish town boards until it is up and running.
This is how it works today. I fail to see the downside.
lol, 1.4k is not low for a day 1 player. 3-4k is fairly unrealistic unless all these players dont have jobs. That would be 10 - 13 hours per day, 7 days a week since launch. Math…
