Yes the amount of fixes in the patches is quite sobering. I really hope that the code has been fundamentally reworked on in the Brimstone update and that the current version will only be maintained until then.
If that is not the case, it is just a joke what is fixed in each of these micro patches.
I would say that the list of “known issues” is so incredibly long that it should be even longer, but even that list is simply no longer updated.
Nevertheless, one should check with every bug report whether the problem is already known.
Maybe do some research and you might find what you are looking for…… Example the OPT issue was linked to when people get kicked from games it messes it up so just start the game again. The game runs flawlessly now days.
Well, $hit happens - you cannot predict everything. That is why no one is giving firm times - especially when it coms to updates etc. This is how real life works.
Haha the game definitely does not run flawlessly, think I remember reading AGS wont be using the lumberjack engine for future game development projects, wonder why xD
It is really a pity that there are problems again.
That is annoying, but what is just unbelievably cheeky is that AGS gives 0 info that it will take longer or how long they think it will take.
all the conjecture. no one here works at ags , u have no idea what coding and re-compiling is needed on any update… the list of fixes/changes in an update not always synonymous with length of downtime.
