AGS downtime is a joke, says 90min, has been over 3hours now…
90 min is an estimation - not a set in stone time…

Its the dubble time on every downtime ASG has, they might wanna change it to 3-4hours maintenance.
Well, $hit happens - you cannot predict everything. That is why no one is giving firm times - especially when it coms to updates etc. This is how real life works.
Haha the game definitely does not run flawlessly, think I remember reading AGS wont be using the lumberjack engine for future game development projects, wonder why xD
Because they forked out into an open-source version called o3de.
It is really a pity that there are problems again.
That is annoying, but what is just unbelievably cheeky is that AGS gives 0 info that it will take longer or how long they think it will take.

all the conjecture. no one here works at ags , u have no idea what coding and re-compiling is needed on any update… the list of fixes/changes in an update not always synonymous with length of downtime.

They haven’t been able to fix these problems in a year. I wouldn’t expect a minor patch to be when they finally get it fixed.

It’s a misconception that these are wide spread issues. Game has run pretty smooth since around June I would say. Usually when someone experiences desync now it’s due to connection issues.

If your having problems during wars i’d reccomend closing everything that isnt the game and discords. My computer isn’t the best and doing this makes it run smooth during wars and can even record no problem.
Still wish they made the game run better.
