Am i downloading the whole game again? What is happening?

Mine just finished updating. I think it’s more the display on the total size of the files that are being patched, not necessarily what you’re downloading? Not sure.
No i checked my internet traffic consumption! 11 Gb consumed and still downloading!
i had 7.2gb patch download, but then it uninstalled and reinstalled the whole game 47.2gb
actual download was just 7.2gb, the entire game wasnt redownload just reinstalled(in my case at least)
Did u check to see that you actually consumed that much traffic or not?
aye actual download size is 7.7 gig
At 42 Gb my internet got DCed. After retry download is back at 0 again! Fuck this game! Fuck everything about this game cant even download a fucking patch without bug and problems!
Most probably there is insufficient storage space. Happened with me long ago. I installed steam library in other drive. During update suddenly lot of space is consumed by storage device and when it can’t fit in one drive then steam starts downloading whole game again. After that i ensured there is enough free space on my storage device during update you need more space and so the issue never happened again
