I wanted to know if it is a good decision to upgrade purple gear from 59X to 625 if the 2 perks it has are good for me for pvp.
I was thinking to let me craft some legendary gear but then I thought: maybe that’s not the best decision because first it may not come out as legendary and second only one perk is going to be what I want.
Is there something I’m missing in all this or I’m right?
You are right. Upgrade it when it has 2 good perks.
Solid 2 perk armor is the way to go. If you have the cash for solid 3perk armor (150k-1m per piece on my server) then go that route.
To be honest, it is cheaper to buy those 150k+ pieces than it is to craft them, though.
I decided when the system came out I was just going to do my pvp set. It’s just way easier to use one set and upgrade it compared to doing multiple. If it’s a good 2 perks definitely upgrade.
dont upgrade, wait for the new gear in the new dungeon.

Solid 2 defensive perk ( can get some decent by doing alot of opr) boost them to 615-620 and you should be fine
This too. Run a lot of opr and pray to lootbox rngesus. I picked a med con resil/freedom chest out of one - one of the most solid defensive pvp pieces I have gotten, and can be used for most light builds or a medium sns build.
These are all good points I hadn’t considered.
Think of how many third perks on a piece are nearly worthless.
