While upgrading my Void Gauntlet with shards, I noticed that it didn’t seem to have any effect. I got some more, screen shot before, and then screen shot after and everything is exactly the same. Am I missing something about effect of Umbral shards upgrades?
It’s mostly a PvE mechanic where the game compares your average GS with that of the mutator level, and applies flat increases or decreases to your outgoing and incoming damage.
In PvP, the difference is negligible.
You have to upgrade it more than one point to see a difference in the stats. Try a 10 point upgrade and compare.
