After trading, I noticed I still had 18 salted mining luck 2000 food in my inventory. I have had issues where I accidentally cancel a trade so I asked my friend if he had the food in his inventory and he said he did. This is where I began to think it wasn’t a cancelled trade, but a duplicated trade. To further prove it to me, I noticed two stacks of salted mining luck 2000 food in my inventory, one with 18 and one with about 50. This normally would not be in two stacks, but I put one stack into my storage, and back into my inventory, and It combined the two stacks back into one. This is pretty convincing to me that the items duplicated. Please look into this before people figure out how to replicate it. My world is Lin Lin and my in game name is “Me Cook”. My friend that I traded is “MuscularMidg”. This happened on November 16th, 2021 after trading was unlocked.
@Kay@Luxendra you might want to be aware. I’m not risking my skin to try replicating this given the support you give if someone gets banned for nothing, but I don’t want this getting abused once again either.
@DarXyde You can say that again! lol… fact that Customer Service team doesn’t exist. Auto replies 75% of the time and CS doesn’t bother actually reading the issue. Welcome to outsourced Customer Service.
@MeCook do not try to replicate this anymore and on behalf of the community I bet many of us legit players appreciate you coming here with this immediately.
Oh no. I think it has something to do with splitting stacks in the trade window. I wondered why I had 2 stacks of non-maxed stack for some items in my inventory after cancelling/succeeding a trade. I’m not sure if this is a dupe, or you failed to keep track of items. I don’t think my items duped since I have noticed I have two stacks, but the other person didn’t receive any.
I also had this happen randomly with food as well, so not sure if this is food related only or something that can be replicated. I attempted to split stacks and trade partial amounts to someone, it gave the person about 75 more than I put in and when I checked my inventory I had way more than I should have left over. They DID check and did receive that amount so it’s definitely duping the items. Mine was literally just honey, so I hope I’m not in trouble for this, but I don’t know exactly how to duplicate the issue but I can confirm it does exist.
