So far they have only admitted to it being EU Central but if it is on your server as well you might want to avoid putting too much time into the game today, in case they have to rollback your server as well. And I wouldn’t count on rollbacks just affecting certain people as money gets spread to many hands and surgically reversing all those individual transactions would be a mess for a skilled developer, so for AGS it is basically guaranteed that would be total disaster.

I only see Roollback Rollback Rollback. Its much more easy to give all players who dont receive money today 350k gold too. So the market will fix it by itself.

Yeh, the frustration is real… but the fantasy that somehow their anger means that Amazon will decide that you, specifically, are so angry in such a valuable way that it will raise your concerns to the top is absolutely absurd. We’re all 1 of 200k players. Best we can do is realize we have absolutely no control over the situation, nor does Amazon really have a responsibility to attend to each of our individual needs and frustrations. We are a user base, probably segmented by server and trends, not individuals. We can choose to play or not to play, but we can’t demand that somehow our decision is going to make any difference whatsoever up the food chain. This is going to offend a lot of people who believe this very thing, but there it is.

The problem in applying different rollback rules, it’s that it quickly gets out of control.
When you see how gold compensation went (and many other fixes before), I would not rely on Amazon for deploying a quick and safe way to rollback only some aspects of the game.
The only safe way to go is to “fix the fix”, and re-deploy latest patch with latest data, and delay gold compensation after testing. Maybe with another compensation to those who played and lost progress, as suggested by someone in this thread.

How will that fix itself? What about people who’ve made that 300k legit and now all of a sudden it’s made meaningless? The solution to this cannot simply making 2 months worth of trading gameplay be meaningless, the game was supposed to be more than a hack and slash zerg.

I am a very comprehensive and patient person … specially when a new game comes out… but … but …
Recently I am getting more and more the feeling that amazon games scammed us all in selling NW as playable product at a full price…
This here is more like an EARLY ACCESS GAME which should be have been offered to a far less price …
Guys we are all BETA TESTERS for them … nothing more …
IF IT IS CORRECT that them KNEW in advance the problems with the AGS, then them acted in a FRAUDOLENT way. Why ? Well … this would mean that them knew that them will have to create one update after the next to patch all the bugs … as one patch will simply create 2 more bugs … ( remember ARK ? )
Them have to change the AGS … even if it takes 6 months to do so … as come on … AMAZON GAMES is autodestroying new world … we all now this …
Better is to shut down the game fix that shit and offer the players a solution for the money spent…
Please do not misunderstand me … I am not a hater … I do really love the game …

Yeah… I haven’t gotten jack… Been paying taxes on a 20k house, and 2x 5k houses… Guess only SOME people get compensated. Thanks a lot AGS.

Eeeh mate … I am not interested in ingame gold … I want a stable game with no bugs or exploits 
I want a product I can enjoy …
Not a product where me and my friends sadly have to start betting, what will be the next provoked bug due the last patch …
I even do not blame the devs for this … it was a strategic decission made by the management who got shit tons of bonuses for the sales made of NW … them re the responsibles … not the poor devs who have to follow orders

I think the devs had very little to say as to when the game would be released, as it oftentimes happens. People are complaining on and on about postponed release date, then management chimes in and gives u a deadline where u have to release no matter what. My two cents? Management shouldn’t let itself get pressured by ppl so much and give devs longer to do their job properly instead of a quick quick we want to release it yesterday that clearly happened here.

While I agree with a lot of what you’re saying, I can’t agree with this. I’ve been very active in Alpha, Beta, and Live forums and I can see that certain threads, with a good argument and plenty of player support, can definitely lead to change. So, yes, we’re small fish in a big pond, but we as individuals should definitely be speaking up (I just wish folks could do it with more tact and avoid the childish nonsense)
