Actually no he has a point. I was split up from my company due my server dying and the server we transferred to locked within 30 minutes, splitting us completely in half.
Here is another scholar with this transfer token. That isnt the issue if you just used your head

This just shows the ignorance of the playerbase. US east has already merged themselves into 3 servers, Orun, Castle of Steel, and Maramma. The first two have already gotten so full it’s locked, and Maramma is likely going to be there any hour now. There’s still a couple more servers with decent population after that. In all likelihood US east should be down to 8 or so servers, with 3 ultra high pop, 2-3 medium pop, and 2-3 lower pop, depending on exactly the playstyle and community each person wants. But only 2-3 servers for all of US east? You know nothing. The 3 biggest servers already hit 1900+ peaks, in a game with a 2k player cap.

Youre oblivious to the point. Maybe i was simply putting the idea that a lower server count would be better didnt have to specifically be 2 or 3 thats just how many i used in my post.
Simple fix 5 servers that way they all have a healthy population until more people stop playing.

And you’re oblivious to both reality and the devs intentions. They gave out transfer tokens. Make your choice. Many, many people already have.

Keep relying? Bro they’ve only handed out two transfer tokens in the entire game. I still have one after using it for the first time a few days ago. Make a choice for a server and move there.

The devs intentions are to give people a choice. They literally said that in their Dev interview they released a week ago. So use your token and stop crying on the internet.
Well that choice screwed my company over. We scouted a back up server in case Castle of Steel became locked. We waited 4 days, finally we decided to make the transfer. Within 30 minutes off us starting, it locked, leaving half of my company stuck in Castle of Steel, and half of us stuck outside of it, not knowing what to do or even to keep playing.

Shouldnt of even attempted to tra sfer to a high pop server. It being locked is a risk you take. High pop means its pushing the tech limits and close to locked, not hey come here we need more people. I wish more people would see stories like yours and learn from it and stop trying to squeeze into a clown car.
Sucks what happened to you folks but waiting a day or four days if its high pop already its a risk trying to move a whole company.
If your guild has more than one company then its a really bad idea but then again for balance that might make folks happy to split you on two servers.
That said a monitized guild transfer members can opt into that guarantees 100 people can transfer together should be a thing.

Yeah i did this is now the 2nd time so when more players leave what do i do wait on another token? Or maybe the fix the overall issue and combined the fuxkin servers so there arent multiple servers with 100 people on them if not less.
The actual issue is to complex for you to understand.
They’ve already down two “rounds” of merges, they’ve also handed out two transfer tokens. They’re balancing their approach between them handling it, and you making a choice. What do you think needs to be done extra bud? They need to hold your hand through everything?

That choice, that your company made, was a bad one, and it’s AGS’s fault? Yeah, not a surprise on this one. My company made that choice to Orun, I didn’t go. I said I wouldn’t go. They’re on Orun, left some members behind, and almost none of them even play anymore. But that’s ON THEM for making the choice they did, not on AGS.

There was literally a merge 3 weeks ago. They also handed out tokens so those unhappy with the results of said merge can find a more populated server. The tools are out there, use them.
