Why are most if not all US servers locked from transferring or character creation? Most at this point barely have population to upkeep them. I play on castle of steel and have not seen a single queue in almost 2 weeks.
What gives? Trying to get a bunch of friends to play but it’s impossible because everything is just locked. Please unlock them.
I am starting to think the information super highway that get to live ears, and then possible addressed, takes weeks.

Is it really difficult to figure out why?
The servers are most often like 200people below the 2k mark.
It seems most servers really can’t handle players with above 2.2k at all. Even at 1.8 it seems to go slowly wrong in some areas. Which well, is really quite stupid in the first place, but it seems like they can’t do nothing about it lol
They likely expect people to come back or login on old accounts when Brimstone releases.
Remember how many merged servers that actually is.
If even some hundreds login more to actually play consistently + new players from last weeks and those who’d join on Brimstones. You’d have suddenly easy 300-1000ppl overcap.
And in this game 300people can mean a 2hour queue.
I wouldn’t expect them to unlock anything till after the event.
Bump, locked servers is extremely tilting
Yeah, I can understand the high player count server issues, used to experience them firsthand a few weeks ago when servers were actually near cap at prime time. Very annoying having 20+ people in a war disconnect or crash just because of high player counts, only to be forced to have to wait in a 300 player queue.
The thing is its not an issue at this point, as many people have stopped playing, only to login for wars, or waiting until brimstone sand release. It seems more like they’re just trying to funnel people into their new servers that they keep making, which to me is only hurting the game from my perspective, from theirs probably not so much. Sucks having to tell friends who have been wanting to play and learn the game with me for the past month at least, that they simply can’t because AGS locked the server. It is what it is though, this post isn’t mean in ill will. I’m sure they have their own reasons other than server stability.
Make no sense to unlock them when the event & expansion is around the corner and queue’s will be back, there are new servers you can play on, have fun.
