Irongo is my hero… It’s not even a good bot. It literally stands still and hits the node occasionally. I’ve been admiring since he was like level 12. I’m ok with this style of bot. It’s no where near efficient enough to effect the economy. Someone could mine the same amount of ore that he gets from one day in one or two loops… Depending on your route.
so you’ve seen first hand to know that they arent gathering enough for it to “effect the economy”, you should be banned as well for supporting cheating , i dont care if he gets 1 iron ore a day, either play the game how everyone else is or get banned , you can have fun with all the bots once everyone quits because the economy is controlled and ran by bots

Buddy the amount of ores he gets in 20 hours you can make that in less than 15 minutes, by normal iron mining, I would hardly call that a bot, probably a mini macro on repeat with 15 lines of code, that is automatically programmed by a recording software.
With something so basic you can’t tell if he’s a bot or one of those birds pressing the E button… Like on the Simpsons when homer works from home
I ran into an iron bot on my server with the same super simplistic mining thing. I grabbed the ore before he could because it just clicks E once every 30 seconds or so. Hilarious to watch it try to mine it while I was getting the last swing.
Then, for good measure, I did the prone to standing trick until he was far enough away he couldn’t mine anything. They aren’t hard to deal with.
These simple bots are not a problem, standing there or just walking forth and back between 1 node, the problem are the bots walking around the entire iron node farm and farming all night and depositing and going back to farming again.
I caught several of those yesterday, weird names no faction, easily spottable bot movements, crystal clear coordination injection with image recognition bots already out there, theres already bots that bypasses the EAC and they’re increasing by the day, AGS is probably aware and monitoring this process and taking a slow approach, as they should, and smack them all in 1 swoop and give no information on how they were caught botting.
This is a strategy used to catch “wrong-do’ers” red handed, because if you let these “players” run their strategies over the course of time, things will change and they will feel safe and try other things and in the end, they will not know what banned them. So they can’t pinpoint exactly how they were caught.
While it sucks that everyone has to be patient and see these bots running around, I do understand, but I kindly ask the community to be patient and to just report any suspicious activity that you see that is botlike, monitor them for a while before you report, try to message them, try to say something around them see if you get a reaction and then submit a report with a detailed description which will help the team and be patient until their strategy kicks in.
