My Voice chat is not working today. It was working fine yesterday. I am not sure why its not working today. I have checked the settings, and searched the forums for ideas. No solution. Have I been banned? I can’t imagine why.

I’m sorry you’re having this issue with the in voice chat New World Game; having in mind if your character is new, you will have to wait 72 hours until you can use the voice chat.
I know you checked the settings but let’s verify once more if the voice chat function is correctly enabled also follow the next steps please:
- Go to the in-game Settings Menu
- Click on the Communications section and you will be able to see the option voice chat mode. Please make sure that the option is marked as enabled.

I relogged and now I can voice chat again. Just so you know the menu’s have changed in the game. No longer is it to go to the Communications section… The menu is “Social”…
Now I can not see my equipment that I have on…

This happens because the game (just like a lot of other games, unfortunately) doesn’t update it’s list of devices while running.
If your microphone isn’t connected, or there is any kind of contact issue (game is more sensitive to this than Discord, or windows) when you start the game up, it won’t register when you plug it in or move it around.
Unplug, plug-in, straighten the cable, and restart the game.
