True, I also play with mostly as melee I compared lifesteal hatchet to void results are similiar, but mostly I dont like to abuse game mechanics, so I dont go with full life steal builds. Currently hatchet and VG are the best 1v1 melee weapons, but it will not work against real range mage, hit track from Void Blade is someone is dodgin running really suck.

Cooldown is too short, it will not work.

Play VG tell me with a straight face how “op” it is. Get stuck in a ice wall then comboed or hit with a shield and combo

Him too gravity, stun and 3x heavyvattack bb 15k HP. Even if u dodge three times u have 0 stamina they will catch u, vG dont have any mobility skills.
Gravity - entomb - ice shower - blade till void caller - scream + orb - they dead af
Only thing more op than vg is sns combos. The fact you can get leaping stricken across the map and get stunned into shield bash stunning you for what 3s or something and get killed in a one shot combo with bb is dumb af

Same, in 1v1 any GA+WH player if he failed his shock wave had a really bad situation, but mostly they just reset fight, and what about VG player ? I dodge his Shock Wave, waiting him to cast Gravity ok I let him caught me he is coming → Ice Tomb he wasted his maelstorm too now charge back and again he is waiting for cooldowns all will do it over and over, if I screw something I can’t run away I will stun him with Ice Wall, slow down for a 2 sec with Ice Storm no mobility skills he can still catch me he has bloodlust, charge sometimes reap, he is always faster than I = I am dead due to no cooldowns.
Just to keep this thread going, I run a very similar setup but with different perks and stats:

Surgeon ring for extra void damage that translates for leeching and the blackguard VG.
Every basic attack I do is pulling my entire skillset at play, combined with area debuff and that cursed skill that recovers 20% damage as health. I mean, is it OP? For soloing maybe, on PVP I get stunned and CCd as any other player, so my entire build is rendered useless if I can’t hit back, and it does happen a lot.
This video is such a joke though? Voidblade requires you to left click to sustain, it has no grit. Any stagger(not even hard cc) and you would have killed him here.
Here’s a list of abilities any of them could press and he would have died:
Shockwave
Reap
Maelstorm
Wrecking Ball
Grav Well
Good point, it was just auto attacks, if it was real pvp there would’ve been skills used like shockwave and it would’ve been over
Shockwave is really easy to dodge. Grav well he just entombs and lives. Reap does do anything. Maelstorm doesnt do that much damage he will get the health back in a couple of hits. Wrecking Ball is also easy to dodge
