Void Gauntlet needs a nerf BAD

Would agree there as well buffing the dot damage would be alright. I meant it’s in a good place as in it’s utility, however I would agree with you the ranged side of VG needs tuning all together. The damage output is excessively low current with a 570GS VG my damage output is 550 split void/nature with 300+ focus and an abhorreal gem in slot for VG.

U dont say nothing about cds every 4 sec because of void blade left click or about 50% extra absorb with the blade

Nah, assume both people have at least minimum entry pvp gear, and over 30 IQ. VG player wins every single time. Add a lifestaff or icegaunt for the real cancer.

I’m glad you have a bunch of garbage tier sub 30 iq VG players on your server, I have them on mine too, and 1v5ing them, no matter what class they are on, is trivial. But when someone with similiar IQ (above 30 is all that is required) and at least pvp gear has a VG, they don’t lose.

Voidblade being used with low cooldown rates is not a problem. The problem is that it can deal large amounts of damage and heal for large amounts of health.

Iv seen builds where blade crits 6k damage. It is insanely broken. More so when you pair it with the stagger/healing reduction of scream, which is in and of itself a problem. A conversion of scream to just a slow (no stagger, or root) would be a good change for this ability and it would still pair fairly well with blade, but you could for example dodge blade attacks etc.

Blade needs a nerf, but not so much about the damage it does, just how its doing it. Other wise, blade will be useless in pve, and its already experiencing problems with light armor there.

No, because with all weapons buffed more and more, tanks become more and more useless.

blade needs to be nerfed hard, I rather see the damage nuked to the ground and see it have a weakening effect or a rend effect, oblivion provides 20% empowered, let that sink in. 20%. And if you get the perk, it rips off a buff. Honestly bring empowered down to 5 or 10% because its a massive aoe, name one aoe in the game thats even comparable to it. Scream is a 2.5s root. 2.5 seconds. It’s fucking insane they thought this would be a good weapon to add, it’s just overly oppressive. The fact is they give insane damage to everyone, deal insane damage, and have the strongest CC in the game is too god damn much. I rather see them remove the weapon as it will oppress every other weapon until it gets nuked because AGS doesn’t know how to balance and VG is an overly complex weapon with too many numbers hence it came out this fuckin jank.

Git gud.

Just nerf this weapon hard if you want to have any semblance of fair pvp.

Actually, the only problem is the burst dmg. Its a bit too strong for VG and I saw people massacring a mass of players. No other weapon does this. Some numbers gonna be reduced or sth, don’t know.

Interesting how no one is talking about Gravity Well whereas a FS/IG user I’m instantly dead if someone lands it on me. Completely immobile, but that’s ok because mages are broken…

It’s not VG that needs a nerf. It’s roots that need to be nerfed. I think the easy fix is to make all roots escapeable via movement skills, just like Gravity Well. Also, allow us to counteract it with itemization, like Freedom.

the lunge is excessive, it should be 2/3 of what it is. Scream root should break at first damage, like shield bash.
