Void Update: 10%/30% Luck Bonus forcing PvE players into PvP

I think you put your message in the wrong place, did you mean that for AGS?

The problem ist this topic was already discussed massively here and the ending conclussion is you are not forced. Its a bonus for everyone. You can activate it if you want the bonus but you have to take a risk to get ganked or to fight for it.

If you dont want this risk then dont do it.

It’s not a punishment for PvE, it’s a reward for PvP to compensate the lack of harvesting luck they get on their gear.

You can be 35% with harvesting luck gear, easy. PvP players doing that are crazy if they are going out to look for a fight with someone wearing proper gear.

Try considering it as a the risk of time saved - you can risk running almost double luck with a PvP flag, but if you die, you’re going to lose that node, any adjacent nodes, and have to walk back from your camp / town.

Plus, if there’s no-one around, you can flag. If you then die later, you were able to benefit from that luck, get a free teleport back to town, and can then unflag.

This is a non-issue.

The original plan for was this for to be a pvp game, then they changed their mind because nobody wants that, and made an open world pve mmo. You’re lucky they included some pvp elements for you. It’s a moot point though, since there won’t be a game for anyone in a month.

no the reason they changed it to be PVE “also” is because they could double their profits, its a simple thing, if you could double your money you definitely would, same as anyone here, thats why for 5 years they worked on complete pvp and only in the last year have they worked on PVE lol, think you should of read that up before commenting, go sit in the corner

Its a bonus for those that flag PVP, the PVE players didnt had ANY NERF or ANY PENALTY!!
The update just give a bonus to those that take the risk… those that don’t want to flag will continue with the same bonus they ever had, items, house and territory, with the added bonus of farming without any danger of dieing or having to fight for a node…

The PVE players complains are completly nonsense, they didn’t lose ANYTHING! they simply dont want that PVP players get any bonus?? such selfish power hungry pvers… really, complaining because someone else gets a bonus for something, and they dont have ANY PENALTY for not flagging, everything is the same.

Seens the PVErs just dont want anyone else to have any advantage no matter the risk involved… no one is forced to flag, you can keep farming pvp off same way as always, but if you want to get a lil bonus luck, then flag and take the risk that those flagging are taking.

Forum is a party of whinning parties, be them pvers, pvpers, anti healers, anti casters, GA one click club, and so on…

We still have a Loooooog way till game gets proper balance in all its aspects, and all nerfs on weapons we seeing are terrible examples of how bad whinning parties on forum as harming the game…

Stop thinking only on your self gains, think on the greater pricture of everyone having fun!

Bonus for more pvp flagging is good all around, not just for pvp but also for pve that will get more nodes for free when ppl fight for it kkk

Lower cost for dungeon keys will be good for pve, but need to lower even more… and we need somekind of “HEROIC” mode for dungeons of lower level to be viable for end game too, they are so nice designed, but once leveled they are rotting empty.

Well, stop this whinning, PVErs didnt get ANY PENALTY AT ALL!!! They added a bonus for those that CHOOSE to Flag PVP, so if you don’t like, just don’t flag and stop whinning. Want the added bonus, then take the risk!

geez, whinning parties ruining the already not very good work of the devs… they end up listening to the forum whinning mobs and release terrible balancing updates.

Really, I’m the world’s #1 pvp hater. And those 2 lines already warned off. If you pvp player think that added bonus will encourage more people to flag, that may be true for 1% of your current server population, so won’t change a thing. If you pve player think you’re being forced to flag, you’re also wrong. There’s no one on your keyboard auto turning your pvp on, you can still play as usual without risk and getting same rewards, might take longer yes, but you will get there.
So people need to stop bit***** about this bonus and move forward for more serious issues, like there are still gold sellers in the game, there are still bots fully automated running, there’s this new bug that any crafting table is kicking you off before you start to craft.
Focus your efforts on serious things, once game starts to run without issues, that will be the time to ask for pvp only servers, and remove bonus from pvp, and so on. Or you should try my way, already have a lvl 20 character without “any faction”. With this setup you won’t even have the option to flag.

Nothing has changed for you. The luck update is for those that aren’t scared to get killed and respawn. You can still do everything you did before. You are complaining you can’t get something someone else can get without having to “suffer” just like them.

Why not? If you think about it long enough, you might be able to figure it out. I believe in you.

The game isn’t any more alive with the pvp luck on than it was before, it is unrewarding to pvp in the open world you get durability loss on death and trash loot that doesn’t cover the bill on victory. You have people who pull mobs onto you that are not flagged that you cannot do anything about trolling you. You have people following your group making content scale harder than it should be just to loot chests and leave you dealing with higher scaled content. The whole game design is rubbish right now and trying to force pvers to pvp is not going to fix any of it or help the population of the game.

With that said if you don’t want to pvp flag DON’T no one is forcing you to.

pvp? whats that? hmmm havent heard of it or anything about it…pve all the way baby ignore anything that lists pvp, pretent it isnt there as it isnt. dont use great axe and heavy so just ignore it…

Actually PvE players did get something in return. Knowing that people will flag for something that doesn’t work in the game, Luck.

Alrightyy then, did not know this was such a touchy subject to PvP players, my bad for bringing this up and stirring the pot a bit. In the end, this is a game built for both, PvE and PvP, simple. That’s what drew me to the game during the Beta. This isn’t to diminish PvP’s issues either, just would like to see some more PvE benefits as well if others are getting it too across the board.

How I thought the game is, is that PvP players get to control the Wars, towns, fight each other etc. PvE was going out, doing Quests, gathering nodes to get better gear, fight NPC’s etc.

They both have their right to be a part of this game, or AGS wouldn’t have included it to begin with. Anyways yall enjoy bickering at one another, take care and have fun! It’s only a game we’re all here to enjoy! :upside_down_face:

Rotfl. How this in any way force You to flag pvp? Just keep using Your lucky set and keep crafting in PvE mode.

I mean it’s not that hard to fuck pvp players over anyways in this regard, just go PVE and mine all their nodes before they can and if they pull a mob train on you report them for TOS violations.

I woke up today and a amazon delivery guy knocked on the door and he punched me in my man tiddeh and pulled a gun on me was like wtf dude he made me turn on my pc and flag up for pvp im scared send help :frowning:

To be honest the 10% is not even worth it, have done now Myrk & Mines and some other Elite grind i have not seen any benefit from it. i raized my WS with 1-2 point. So my feeling its not worth the risk and effort… feels like they are trying to force a game play that does not give you anything back… more then more expenses.

Exactly. The bonus is still to low. Im myself more of a pve player. I only used the flagging for faction bc it went easy and fast up. I may use it another time once I go for only farming and if there’s not much pvp going on the route. If AGS wants more open world pvp then there have to be more bonus to make the risk more rewarding. For now I will not be flagged while doing quests and stuff.
