I have played for over 12 hours each day and never got disconnected once. So you leave a bad review since you can’t play wanting to join a super busy server (they tell you the queue when picking a world) and yet it’s their fault… I do agree the server sizes could be larger but when i would log in at night (in prime time for PST) i would have a round a 3 hour wait (not unreasonable) and have had 0 issues in game. You’re just dishonest and want to pass it on due to you not playing on a popular server.

Not everybody wants to waste time on a 1 day character. This is dumb. There’s no server transfer yet. All you do is create one worthless char a day, grinding level 1 to 10. Then repeat.

When I joined my current server game told me only 20 people were waiting at Euro peak time. Now it is 1920 and it is not even peak time. Should I reroll again O Sensei ?

Nope … played the same character for 3 days straight… I know in 2 weeks when transfers are active I can move that char to the server my friends are on. No big deal…

Just a reminder… Most if not all of Amazon’s games have failed. This is the only game that shows potential but they are messing it up with the queue errors and long queues. I really hope they find a solution to this now, today.

Im sure you will be the first one who cries when the cap is 6K and there are NO ressources and you need like 4H for one Quest where you have to kill a mob.

But yeah, if you dont want to play, then just dont. If you want to play for all means, play on a low server. If you want to play where your favorite streamer is who will ignore you anyway, just wait for it in the Queue

No I made a character on a lower population server… playing it everyday since launch … knowing within 2 weeks I can move that char to another server. I was smart and made that character on a server in the same World Group (Ultra) as my friends/guild server.

That way, I am playing and leveling, and eventually will be on the same server as my friends… I am prob better off then most of them trying to fight the queue

Because I ain’t sweating mate simple as that. I know they’re adding free character transfers and have been adding new servers each day. And they have just said they are testing increasing the server cap. So just relax and enjoy your life.

yes but if the company where your friends are is full?what do you do?and i know it’s a greate game i played like 6 hours and i liked a lot but on steam i have 18hours in this game and from 18 hours i played only 5 or 6 this is not ok at all.I do not fully agree with leaving negative reviews beacuse of que,but let’s be honest when you make a review you should describe your experience with the game but how clould you do that when only thing you saw was the que box?You need to understand the people frustation because they delayed the game like 1 year and when it’s realse you can’t play.

Heart of the issue:
You posted server names prior to release.

I know, you had good intentions doing so. You wanted players to form around each other and have communities and hype even BEFORE launch. However that would have happened regardless, just without the server names. To me, a root cause analysis of this problem shows that:
People want to play with their friends,
Their friends all chose a server,
And now nobody wants to transfer because they want to play with their friends(community).

Had you not announced server names prior people would have had to take a few minutes to get a lay of the land population wise. Yes there would still have been hiccups, no launch is without them, but fewer people would have felt such an identity with and affinity for servers such as Valhalla(which in retrospect should have be named for something in lore, as of course, people go with what they are familiar with. All server names should have been equally unfamiliar to help normalize distribution)

Of course, we cannot change that now, but going forward I hope with expansions of this game and newer titles you wish to release you learn these lessons. Blizzard took two releases to get themselves squared away. I hope to see you best that record.

Moving forward, I’m sure you all are astounded at the success of your game and I want to see that success continued. As a player I am a stakeholder in the the success of the game which puts gaming industry in a somewhat unique position of having stakeholders as customers. So to appease both your stakeholders and stakeholders as players, we need quick corrective action. I won’t waste breath, or I suppose finger movements on reiterating in depth the examples posted here, but a quick solution would be allowing more liquidity among the playerbase. For example, I am now softlocked into Takamagahara, I have a level 20 and to simply start a new character and redo the same things is defeating to say the least. Allow us to move between servers freely for a time and allow the population distribution to normalize and then with plenty of warning, allow players to lock in choices. The longer you wait the more entrenched players will be on their servers. So unfortunately quick action is needed here to allow this to be a smooth transition.

To the players, please try to keep the hate and vivitrol to a minimum. We are all upset and you have the right as a paying customer to to express the need for corrective action. We have done so, and now we have to allow them the time to fix the problem. Even in B2B contracts of multimillion dollar amounts, change isn’t instant.

I hope you understand that this comes from a place of altruism. I am a little upset I can’t just hop on and play for an hour at the moment but I have faith this will pass. I am a certified quality technician, so I know even the most catastrophic problems can be overcome with quick and decisive action.

The preceding insight is sent free of charge and deeper and more qualitative analysis can be provided on a consultative/ salaried and/or priority queue basis

I do not reroll every day…I have not seen more then 2 people in queue on my server (in NA Ultra Group)… I play the same character EVERY day…

Edit - I also log in after 5pm EDT … so like I said… no issues

They had larger server caps in open beta. But now they’re “testing” it.
Adding new servers doesn’t help the people with chars locked in one server.

It’s development incompetency amplified every day. Followed by a stream of ignorant simps who defend their inaction. 3 days in. They have no fix. No solution. Problems are worsening literally exponentially every day.

If you enjoy paying 40 bucks to have devs fuck you then be my guest. I’m not.

I got kicked third time today from the queue. More wait time than game time. Smol indie company cant handle launch properly after all those betas and alphas.
