Wanting to do whats best for your players, when you dont understand your players

Good intentions dont equal success.

Im happy the devs want to do whats best for the players.

They just dont seem to understand the players at all.

This will nearly always result in a clash of ideas and interests, and driving players away.

Constructive feedback: Stop trying to internally create solutions for problems. Problems that have existed in the mmo genre for over 20 years now. Problems that have already been solved by other games/studios. Learn from the mistakes of past games. Accept that people want to play how they want to play, not how you think is best. Dont be the next studio to fall into the “You think you do, but you dont” meme when it comes to thinking you know what people want, more than the people know what they want.
