I see a lot of really amazing ideas about territory influence and pushing being boring , but implementing new things is not AGS best selling point. You can fix a lot with what you have in game already, just repurpose it.
For example for territory control you do wars instead of pushing. For example you will have 4 companies wanting to fight on a territory get them in a tourney, the winner is fighting the owner.
You will pay the admission fee that you pay anyway but instead of losing the coin if you get sniped, or you have multiple comps pushing you win the war experience.
This is how you can get newer or not really experienced comps joining in the PvP community and train.
All the systems are already implemented and the impact could be immense in my opinion.
What a wonderful idea. Essentially create a tremendous amount of content by not creating any extra functionality. But perhaps make it like a war of 30v30, where both teams have the opportunity to attack and defend. Even the companies that dont get the declare still get the war experience. And on top of that, you get more balance fights. I love it!
I personally would like to see those that participate in pushing/counter-pushing the territory get a priority to joining the wars. I am certainly not a fan of seeing companies using the same roster war after war without incorporating the rest of the company.
I would like to see people get rewarded for the effort they put in, than seeing people war log between servers.
It certainly would encourage more fair content for people who want to participate.
Ive suggested this so many times and people just absolutely jumped down my throat for merely suggesting that people that actually play the game… get to actually participate in the content.
