It is not ideal but it is simple to implement and will help, as others have argued.

Yeah and I don’t really get what the statement was meant to inquire. I could run off names but whether they’re good or not is subjective so it seems sort of pointless to do.
I’m in Cloaks & Daggers. I could probably get into most wars in my faction if I wanted to. I play mostly a tank role so getting slots in other factions wars is a bit of a toss up. If I wanted to do Invasions I could probably get slotted for those as well I’m whitelisted on the invasion discord I’m pretty sure. I just don’t care to do them. My reply was to the person implying that if you aren’t available to push influence you have zero say in whether or not you should be put in the war which just seems like talk from someone with no responsibilities honestly. I don’t want to spend 2 of my maybe 4 hours of play time pushing influence. There’s more productive things I could be doing.
Yeah 3-5pm is still pretty off hours unless everyone works from home. We’ve tried pushes from 7pm eastern and it’s impossible to do in one session when you get zerged 50-60 v 30. Even when we called our faction there was no one interested in helping. So we’ve typically had to rely on a small amount of members to run influence in off hours, which is a shitty task for anyone. Part of this has to do with our server balance being bad because of a lot of recent faction transfers but that’s not an uncommon occurrence.
I will say that this hasn’t been much of a problem for us until recently. So part of it is definitely just bc of server dynamics changing. I just can’t imagine that we’re alone in this experience though.
That’s according to yourself. You’re using your own definition of what “no responsibility” is. I work a full time job and work weekends and I have and a spouse and even then I have time to help push a territory.
If you feel like you have more important things to do then don’t cry about not being in a war. You want the fun without the work.

Purple had a grip and green was their lap dogs and it fell apart with no transfers and defects.
Again, I’m in every war I want to be in and even though it can feel like a waste of my time I push influence whenever I’m asked. The implication is that if I didn’t, the spot should go to some random person who does. Which is actually just idiotic honestly. Just bc you’re there to push influence doesn’t mean you’re the best fit for the groups needed for the war. Sorry if that doesn’t sound fair but that’s how slotting for wars actually works.
No idea what being their lap dogs means. We just don’t care about colors and slot in the best people we can for content. It seems to piss randoms off for some reason. We even had yellows running our invasions for a while since they were better at it than us. This weird dogmatic loyalty to a faction is so strange to me, and all of that BS is what put our server in its current state.
Green fell apart a couple weeks ago with 3 of the major pvp companies transferring to yellow. Which led to us switching to yellow as well to stay competitive. But I’m sure you know more about my server than me lol.
This is also mine solution of current situation. I think it will be best way to fix war issue. Bettee then dumb war fatigue idea.
