War fort respawn points and ice gauntlet campering

A common meta is campering respawn inside the fort with ice gauntlet, when you respawn you can’t move and attackers can just wipe full respawns with IG.
Of course it’s a valid strategy due to how the IG ice rain works, but doesn’t give defenders much ways to avoid it, you can’t pick a respawn point nor you can escape the rain on respawn.
You were already punished by the respawn timer, now you are further punished by the spawn point. It’s frustrating.

I think it would be more balanced with more respawn points inside the fort, so attackers couldn’t just camper half of them. At least 12 respawn points picked at random, included on the walls, would be necessary.

Or give immunity to debuffs and CC for 3s after the respawn (though I’m sure there will be a bug that makes that last forever).

Hold your respawn for a few seconds

Just dont die lol, I mean its easy you just have to dodge 10+ grav and the same amount of screams/ice showers.

Camping of respawns is a problem if you consider gameplay the most important issue. Just making respawn a randomized location when inside the fort would put a stop to this.

Same issue with camping OPR gate which they tweaked. If that’s happening you probably guna loose anyhow.

The addition of some utility skills may also help, stun breaker, condi eater etc rather than depend on consumables or specific weapon skills.

They should just add a cc DR finally. That would solve 99% of the pvp problems. There is nothing more infuriating when you are catching a stun and just watching while they are stacking stuns on stuns until you die. like WH/SNS IG/GA etc.

Agreed, wars are abit of a stun/condi fest, be it ice wall/ice storm spamming, happy hammer crew attacks, combat just sort of breaks down. While it is possible to stay alive with good healer support, that’s just a case of a little later than in an instant

There should be utility skills not linked to weapons or consumable items, would help to expand how combat functions in large numbers.
