This happens all the time and happened to a lot of our army last night in a war. I don’t have any screenshots but we had countless reports of players seeing wrong gate letters. This happens in OPR as well where letters will display instead of the symbols.
On top of that…gates in war are opposite of what their point letters are, which makes no sense. The A points gate is labeled as C and the C points gate is labeled as A. This is very confusing when you spend half the game pushing certain points only to have the gate letters swap on you.
This is Restless Shore - we have the fort unlocked in this war. C point is to the LEFT but it is now A gate. C gate is to the right but its actually the gate for A point. This is very strange.
It’s in every war. Normally the letters in war were assigned from Defenders Point of View. When you look out towards the war camp, the points are labeled as ‘A - B - C’ from left to right.
However, whoever on the dev team added the gate letters… did it from Attackers Point of View. Front gates go ‘A - B - C’ (left to right), then back gates go ‘D - E’.
Its a quick fix to swap them to match Defenders Point of View (which we’re all used to), but I asked for that to be fixed over a week ago, and despite getting a response… there’s been no changes, announcements, or responses lol
That particular issue is indeed a bug for everyone. But there are other times where gates and or points display incorrect letters to what they actually are. OPR again, same issue. Except instead of symbols (sun/moon/star) the points get letters for some reason.
