War Score system need to reduce DMG

War Score : 85% → DMG . 15% → Kill

IS IT MAKE SENSE ???

WAR SCORE SYSTEM MUST BE LIKE THIS

DMG : 40%
KILL : 40%
CAPPING : 20%

ITS SURELY BETTER !!!

Hopefully they’ll get enough positive feedback from taking out the “downed state” in OPR and it’ll transfer over to wars.

I think it should be a good mix. But getting the kill has nothing to do with being usefull. I play heal and i accidently get 0 - 10 kills during a war because my auto attack hits a skull. Should i get a reward ? no :smiley:

Dealing Dmg is important. Having a DD who deals less dmg than a healer but snipe all the skulls dont help any team. change my mind :smiley: but i agree capturing points or something needs to be more rewarding than it currently is.

Did you do much fewer damages? if not, yes make sense.

And scoreboard does not matter much IMO. If you are a good player, you are a good player and people will notice you on how you play, etc.

Makes sense, dmg done is more important than finishing someone. If someone chunks 80% of someones HP and someone else finishes him, it makes zero sense to have equal points.

Honestly kills shouldn’t matter. Incentives for picking off players shouldn’t even be a thing.

There should be more factors. U are saying from ur point of view.
I do know that now the majority are playing DPS.

War Score, Outpost Score should have more factors to determinate score:

  • DMG
  • DMG taken (tanks)
  • Kills
  • Assists
  • Capping flag
  • Healing (healers cant compare their dmg with a true DPS and for now its super hard to make it into top 10)
  • Eventually time fighting without die (like to get some points if u fight for 5-10 min and u dont die - careful! to dont get any point if u just stay AFK or running chopping trees)

But also important aspect would be capping flag points - probably this would be an important factor to TEACH ppl how to play outpost and focus playing it objective (not to chase a random guy in the woods).

Why this tho? Why should you get points for me pumping DMG into you?
Maybe I’m missunderstanding this, rest is sensible.

Well what means TANK class? Why a TANK class to cant reach into top 10 ranking? Everybody should have equal chances or at least fair chances.
A true TANK or HEALER wont have any chance to match a true DPS dmg outpost.

Ranks should be more complex than just going glass cannon build and be 1st or in top.

because it’s the job of a tank, standing on the point and and absorb damage.

I get that and I’m all for better point calculation for tanks+heal in OPR/Wars but the idea of me basically giving you points while pumping damage is weird, you know what I mean? Damage blocked or more points by standing on the capture point make sense to me, but the direct translation of my damage to your point score is kinda confusing.

Like if I focus one person the entire match, pumping a lot of damage into em and they end up higher on the score board because of the damage they receive? Also, that would boost everyone who takes damage in general? Maybe I’m overthinking this, idk.

But I agree on the general notion, especially on receiving points while capturing points (main objective, duh AGS).

yes because this guy trapped u, because u do all your damage in this “unkillable” tank instead of the bruiser or other dps player on the enemy team, which are wiping your team meantime. so he deserves this points. :slight_smile:

U misunderstand mate. Tank dmg taking points surely would be lower than outgoing dmg points. So will be no chance for a Tank to outrank u only by standing and eating dmg. Also nobody can eat unlimited dmg without healer backup - pots cooldowns.
Tanks and Healers will never be able to outdmg any DPS.
Tanks and Healers wont be able to get as many kills as DPS, except of situations of kill steal.

But so far our current points system is outgoing dmg. I see it being wrong.
So just cuz somebody play Tank or Healer have to stay on bottom of ranking?

Why you even need score for clicking on dead skull? In my opinion they should remove it. Or give less score for it.

Outside of a couple of specialized builds you shouldn’t run tanks at all in your war imo. Heavy brusiers can be just about as survivable and still deal enough damage to get in top 5 occasionally.

Next patch will delete skull anyway, so it will be way more healthy i guess…

The kill will go to the last hit, but hey its still way better than when u down 100% life of enemy and his skull get hit by musket 200m behind the fight :grinning:

More over deleting the skull will add way more sense to combat since when anyone see a skull, they immediatly stop hiting the “alive enemy” around, to try to get the skull for the kill…

Please implement that same change that OPR is getting, just remove death’s door from wars and give the kill credit to the player who takes their HP to 0.

Also increase the points you get from kills now that they can’t be stolen or padded.
