The storage system in this game is running on a unique take, and I get the fantasy and idea behind it. But overall I think it’s about time to sacrifice fantasy for reason and logic in the game design decisions.
And one of those things being the storage system. Just recently my faction lost control over 2 of the zones that I keep most of my stuff. Meaning I can no longer transfer goods between them. Meaning I’m beep out of luck. It now becomes a job of organising things so I know where to travel to get item X to craft item Y. I don’t like it when a game becomes more about doing a job, than it is about playing the game.
Which is why I think the storage system needs to be reworked a bit. Allow it so you can transfer items between settlements, regardless of your faction’s control of it. And instead put a small tax on it if it’s controlled by an opposing faction.
