To call it pay to win is wrong though, New World is a skill based game. I’ve seen people with epic armor shit on BiS geared players.

No, I think what he’s saying is whales are buying gold that is then used to “hire” top pvp players in order to win the wars… 200K gold per war spot.
Basically calling the game P2W because you can swipe the card and win an advantage by hiring better players than you to help you win wars

Well now that you need 40 ppl in your own company now to hold territory, even if this was happening it won’t be nearly as effective anymore.
Also, That’s one expensive war, even if you only hired 10ppl thats 2mil per war, that’s bonkers.
Yeah… but my guess would be that either the benefits of owning territory offsets the expenses or gild is being sold real cheap and those 2mil is nothing irl… but who knows

It used to be that owning territory in certain areas made you boatloads of gold and mixed with how easy it is to make money on the TP (on populated legacy servers) there was no need for PvPers to buy gold because the game was handing it to them hand over fist. That’s literally the reason they changed the system. Now I don’t know how much gold is made for territories now that it’s evened out a bit, but those companies and players that had a lot of gold likely still do.
Companies have also being hiring mercs since day 1 of this game and merc guilds have been a thing since day 1. That was also the point of the other war change.

It is ass I’ll agree with that. I did wars on my old server pre-merge and hated them even participating in them, but wars and the player build meta have both changed a lot so I’m sure they’re way different now. But they were annoying AF even being in them. On the other side now yes I agree the system sucks for other reasons on the outside - hopefully the new changes can make it more competitive and get more people in. So far though on Valhalla we haven’t seen many changes. 
Still have companies owning (and even re-taking when lost) several territories.
I have no doubt that a lot of servers have people with multiple accounts to get around war cooldowns. No way that people who have played for 6k hours are willing to concede all that gold.
well your dumb only bad players would pay to win in a game so easy to sit at gold cap without thinking. This i can say with all certainty, know one has ever been payed 200k for a war spot ever. If someone told you they were, they lied. Know one pays people to be in there war, iv owned most of map at one time or another and people beg to be in my wars. I not even once in the game have had a reason to pay people and iv played since closed beta. Have almost 6k hours in this game yea its bit much, but id never pay someone to be in my wars. This is not about being in war or not. This is about pay to dominate.
New world is RMT heaven and a whales wet dream. Because RMT is technically illegal here. So ppl can swipe to get advantage without the majority of others swiping to get advantage since the average player is afraid of risking bans. I doubt AGS has any way of detecting it.
People swipe to buy gold and get full bis as well.
Bots get to stay farming for months before they get banned despite low server pops and mass reports.
This must be server specific because it certainly isn’t happening on my server. I dont doubt it though, most top companies have a bot force so the money they make is going somewhere. Probably RMT if not to buy wars.
except its not, its just something in your own head. Know one is paying to dominate, you earn crazy money off towns, why would they even need to. Its called playing the game which is not hard to make bis sets in, just play opr enough and you will have bis pvp sets for each type. Your theory isn’t right or really make sense, know one would buy money to give it away, for a chance to earn same amount, if not less back off the town. Your logic is broken and dose not make sense.
Play OpR to get bis?
For a full bis set with 2 weapons and the jewelry you will have to pay 3-4 million gold.
And some ppl have multiple bis sets for variety of build. RMT is a rampant issue not many dare talk about.

ill prove it, i stream ill turn my stream on and show you like 10 different bis sets all from opr, pvpers have played opr, the same map for last year of course we have bis sets
ya i can show full rusher sets easy, full resil, shirking fort and freedom in there, know ones paying 3 to 4 mil for a set that knows how to game
I’ve gotten 1 bis item from OpR crates and have at least 1k hours in OpR at least.
C’mon man. You can’t get bis weapons from pvp since they don’t roll attun. And the chances of getting shirk fort and freedom with the 3rd desired perk, attribute and armor class you need is so insanely low.
And it takes roughly 60 opr’s to earn the same amount of gold you earn from 1 m10. On average.

Also ill be streaming soon guess some people just have bad luck with the rng but i can show you atleast 10 sets if want from opr that are bis and about 20 or so weapons i use in opr on reg that came from there.
Just matter of rng, apparently you have really bad luck, don’t gamble!
