Where are the desync fixes, where are the balance changes, why are we adding more PvE timegates for us to enjoy pvp, where are the arenas, WHY IS THIS A PVE GAME NOW?! Why can we NOT earn Umbral Shards IN PVP WHEN ITS A PVP GAME?!?! I am so confused about the direction of the game, I have defended AGS through everything but this is looking more grim with every update. Half of my abilities are still not going through and registering and I’m losing faith.
At the very least AGS, allow 595+ gear to be upgradable the same way 600 gs legendaries can. Just add a random perk once it reaches 600. If not its just ruining the hard work of other players and makes anything sub 600 complete trash.
ice spike doesn’t register 50% of the time, followed by a fire ball going through the ground = enemy still at 100% hp. Meanwhile I still can’t burn people with watch it burn = enemies live at 1 hp. Meanwhile I have -5% base damage loss because clear casting still doesn’t function. And ah yes mfw perma stuck and can’t weapon swap.
But no lets add some more damage mitigation perks making pvp even more aids.
Just making it that much harder to get the actual gear you want by adding infinitely more perks to roll and waste your time and gold. At this point with this many perks they need to allow us to choose a stat and 2 perks cuz this is ridiculous. They need to fix combat first, before adding any content. Abilities not landing is a huge nono, no matter who it is
It’s a game for exploiters who don’t care about systems because they are just sitting in Settlements collecting coin. To sell to players who can’t be bothered to play game modes that are not fun – and instead want to pay to win buying stuff from the Trading Post. And in doing so give back to RMT the very coin they bought in the first place.
There’s no substitute for skill tho, bring small scale pvp such as arenas and it’ll separate the boys from men. There’s still the core issues that need to be fixed before adding new content such as this. The game is faaaar from ready for increase in gear score, I agree with you tho
I thought this game was a market simulator… you get to walk to build cardio so you don’t have a heart attack when all the ori you bought goes back to being worth 0.01g…
I’m writing this message slowly because I know you don’t read fast. PvP players are low-profit, high-drama. New World could not survive as a PvP game so they tried to shift focus to PvE. Unfortunately, the game in its current state doesn’t do either mode particularly well.
Could you please post here the official advertisement where it says this is going to be a PVP game? Umbral shards are “rare(?)”, like what exactly do you want, kill few PVE players and get your shard while others have to spend hours in expeditions? It doesn’t give any sense sorry.
…yes… the devs exclusively advertised this game as a pvp focused game. They already implemented 2 other means to get umbral shards outside of dungeons so you defeated your own argument in that respect…
I dont need to, the entire premise of the game is centered around war which is PvP. In their early videos they advertised it as a hardcore pvp game. Im not going to waste my time searching them up for you.
