I just want servers to be unlocked or to issue transfer tokens to players stuck on locked servers. I just want to play with my friends. Am I asking too much? Sorry. Ill shut up and stop playing this game. I know people are tired of hearing me beg amazon for help.

Can they really need a whole month to write “Artificially extend endgame content with new time gates”?

So far it looks like they plan on releasing an expedition that’s existed in the code and assets for quite some time now, and a game area that likewise already existed and just wasn’t accessible yet, and a weapon that also already existed and just wasn’t available to us yet.

I would really hope that roadmap (when it comes) includes some mention of future work that isn’t already done, instead of existing content which they’re now doling out in tiny doses per month. It would be great to hear that they are actually creating NEW content and feature ideas for the game instead of just giving us what already existed in little bits to keep us quiet.

“This month” does literally mean any day of the month, up to and including the last day.

Don’t expect an actual Roadmap this month.
They will most likely spew some gibberish, like they always do. Stuff we already know, or stuff which is so ambiguous and vague that you can’t make much of it.

They will say they will add some PvP content in April, but we already know that. (it’s probably gonna be too little, too late anyway)
They will say they will continue to create balance & fix bugs, but we already know that their promises mean nothing, and they keep breaking the game with every patch.

I posted a potential roadmap a while back…

  • January - New Mutagens.
  • February - Bug Fixing and possible Valentines event?
  • March - Around 20th we have Spring Equinox - (Aequus Nox) - so possible event.
  • April - Easter event? Hunt the eggs? Garden Day also, so maybe Garden content?
  • May - New May pole in each town?
  • June - 21st for Summer Solstice possibly event?
  • July - 2nd of July is UFO day, 4th is American Holiday, 22nd Hammock day?
  • August - 20th is national mosquito day - so expect bugs. (smirks)
  • September - Pirate Day! To err is human, To arr is pirate! 28th - 1st NW Anniversary.
  • October - National Coming Out day - be bold, be strong, be fabulous!
  • November - The Turkey’s are back! Gobble gobble gobble :turkey:
  • December - Tis the season to be jolly - tra la la la la - the Winter convergence!

Depending on the roadmap I plan to announce in March, I will either stop or continue the game. Right now I hardly play, but I do care about the future of the game. If the roadmap disappoints me, NewWorld will no longer be in my life.

Half? That’s very generous. I think announcing a paid expansion on the back of their current progress would take more than half…
