We need arenas. War/OPR isn’t a competitive substitute for people who actually want to sweat and compete and show mastery. We need a leaderboard, we need a queue, and ideally we want it to be cross server at least within a region. This is so necessary for the health of pvp and interest in pvp. Nobody cares about wars. I’m on Valhalla in a company that owns multiple territories, and war genuinely is boring to me and many others who just participate because it is simply the only pvp outside of duels.
This game is literally throwing opportunity into the water by not capitalizing on the community that wants arenas, in terms of player interaction and viewership.
Easily you would double concurrent logins with this announcement. It’s so easy, why are you throwing away such a low hanging and obvious opportunity?
If not arenas, at least new OPR maps and different pvp game modes… It gets stale doing the same thing over and over. And I do enjoy OPR, I just wish there were more options.
yeah war is boring you , thats cool , maybe you can let the rest of the server play war sometimes? instead of same 50 people . you want arenas ? we want tickets to war , all of us .
Then apply to a company and show that you are worth a roster slot.
It’s so uncompetitive that if you can’t get in that way you likely are so un invested that you do not deserve a spot. Arenas are for anyone, everyone, and provide a competitive outlet in a skillful setting instead of a 50v50 zerg fest.

imagine if wow didn’t have arenas or raids, there would be zero viewership for that game too, we barely pull 7k viewers on twitch for a game that launched with a million concurrent players
I want everything you mentioned and I’m on Valhalla as well. It’s the carrot on the stick that still has this community hoping for a miracle, and some sort of official dev response to this would be a great way to stir up some excitement.
Even if it’s just in the pre-planning stage and not ready to go til 2023, as long as we know it’s in the
vision for the game would be a plus.
am a pvp player i support arenas , but the reason game is declining ,
but the reason the game is declining like you said . is the many many gating systems around .
people dont like that . they wanna jump in and play , they got busy lives .
game wont die , it will always have some tryhard playerbase , problem is if they keep that vision
going , it will be just another niche mmo that went with the wind .
