Currently the only weapon with a healing reduction perk is the infected throw ability for the hatchet. We could use more weapons with outgoing and incoming healing reduction. I don’t use a hatchet and when I do I use the berserk tree. The poison arrow for the bow with the infected arrows perk could be a good spot for reduced incoming healing. Honestly skewer or perforate on the spear could be a good spot for reduced outgoing healing.
I refuse to duel or fight in any capacity someone with a life staff on their back. I just know it will be a complete waste of my time and an inevitable loss when they out heal all the damage I can do to them. It’s also kind of pointless to try to flank in a war to kill healers since healing circles don’t stack anymore, people now coordinate to make sure there is always a circle up instead of dumping them all at once. If they dumped them all at once I could run in and kill them while they are on cooldown. This wouldn’t be a big issue with reduced healing reduction on weapons other than the hatchet so other people can help with the debuffs.
No we don’t.
Heavy armor just need a nerf for using life staff.
If you can’t kill a light armor user with life staff, then you need to stop with pvp since it’s clearly not for you.
Great axe, hammer, spear can kill light armor before the cc is over, rapier or fire staff don’t even need the cc because they have more then enough dps.
Dodge roll in light armor is also not a problem if you know how to use the weapons. If anything, light armor needs a buff.
In case you’re a con build (tank), you should not be able to kill a healer, same as the healer can’t kill you, both because of lack of dps, and yes, a (good) tank already has a heal ability.
This wouldn’t only be useful in pvp, it would also be useful in pve. Adding a 15-20% debuff in outgoing or incoming healing won’t massively flip the game but would require people to play smarter.
This must be the 100th topic I’ve seen today of pLz nErF lIfEsTaFf. I Think you’re just a bad PVP player mate, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the lifestaff as it is right now. They did an amazing job tweaking each weapon and if something has to be changed it should be heavy armor.
For the few mobs out there healing, requesting more healing debuffs seems a bit over the top.
Few mobs are using potions just once, others are healer types and you can just push them to stop.
And we don’t need a heavy armor debuff, heavy armor is fine as is. Heavy armor is SUPPOSED to make you harder to kill. In most games, they just don’t let you play as a healer with heavy armor.
Actually you did, because you are asking for healing debuffs which would affect all types of armor users. And again life staff is not the problem, heavy armor is.
Where did you learn to read? Nowhere in my post did I directly say ‘nerf the life staff’. Heavy armor works as heavy armor. There is no problem with heavy armor just because someone can use a life staff with it. The lifestaff ALREADY has a perk to literally completely counter the debuffs. Literally a perk to remove debuffs on a heavy attack.
