no developer would ever change course so drastically after 6+ years of development and a year before launch if he didnt see an unexpected opportunity for a massive cashgrab. you little sheep are just so easy to milk, who could possibly pass up on that. honestly its hard to even blame AGS for what they did. id take every single penny from you dumbasses too even if it means throwing 7 years of hard work in the bin.
well im not. i want a brutal rough world with no safety wheels aka what a proper sandbox needs to be like. i do enjoy close fights, esp outnumbered fights. im the type of guy that will charge in 1v5 repeatably, well knowing the chances of success are slim. i do not take pleasure in 2 shotting lowbies that have no chance of defending themself tho. never did and never will.

its just the typical stereotype carebears make up about PvPers, all gankers, no skill, can only kill lowbies, blahblahblah when in reality they are just jealous that they arent good enough at the game to successfully pvp themself. its nothing but envy, simple as that.
and honestly this game is really not hard. any non handicapped person can be decent at pvp in this game within a week.
I’ve read a lot of comments from @laoi in various forum threads and he’s one of the few guys that seems to get it. This version of the game is so trash compared to what it could have been, and as usual the casual rainbow-players are complaining to get their will through.
i dont rly play this game anymore. i have like less than 5 hours /played in the last 2 weeks.
soon its over anyway. all the true pvpers and ppl that want a proper sandbox RP experience will play MO2 in 3 weeks and all the hardcore sweaty wow raiding nerds will go play lost ark shortly after. whats left in NW then will be a few ultra carebear flower pickers and they will shortly after quit aswell when they realize all their crafting stations are level 1 and they cant process their shit anymore cos there are no combat capable players left to fight off the invasions.
Something like this, a nice sized pvp island optional to enter and pure pvp except in your faction town, not going into detail because not worth the time seeming devs don’t care about pvp but graded capes for top clans, the more kills the better capes, you can choose colors too and bosses in middle or something for good loots maybe and lure,
At this point just give it to them. (one NA and one EU)
They can leave and join the new server, while all the other servers get better because they are no longer there.
After feeding on each other for 6 months and a bunch of them crying on the forums endlessly for… who knows what, they just have to cry, you can shut it down and hopefully they go away forever.

Runescape like wilderness or ESO Cyrodiil.
HUGE ZONE, with a mix of pvp/pve objectives. I think this would make a lot of us PVP nerds happy.
Why just a portion when you can have the whole cake?
I would that if AGS release a handful of always-on pvp servers then pvp players would flood them… no need to travel to a special zone to feel the thrill of danger
I think pvp servers would be good adition given the amount of threads asking to go back to new world’s initial concept.
The world is too big, a zone is much better because all 60s and geared ppl would know where the action is, you put 3 faction basses in that zone and go crazy with quality pvp rather sparatic pvp hard to find in a huge world, a nice sized pvp zone, a zone and “not” arena, arenas are lame and small, a nice sized pvp zone with 3 faction bases.
Just super cool how the largest drop offs in players started around the time the 'no pvp servers ever" comment came from AGS. There is absolutely nothing to see here folks!
I was going to say that the server would be full of pvp players! But I get you now, somehow I forgot NW’ server cap is like 2K concurrent players or something like that.
Maybe an instanced zone that is cross-server would help? or add the zone but designate some servers as “pvp preferred” so pvp players concentrate on those servers?
What worries me about the zone is that developers, in general, tend to use the “let me put <insert high value resource/item here> in this zone to encourage pvp” instead of developing meaningful content…
