We need Visual Clarity on Group Members in War

A major problem in war is knowing where your group members are. As soon as you are relatively close to another group member, the indicator showing how many meters away they are disappears. Even with the new icons, this problem is not solved because there is so much visual noise with every ally having a blue icon, and every enemy having an icon/nameplate.

Suggestion: give us the ability to turn off indicators for allys that are not in our current group.

When I’m in a war, I want to know where only my group members are, and where the enemies are. I have to constantly keep switching to my map to see where they are located relative to my current position, instead of being able to just see their indicator, because it is drowned out by everything else cluttering the screen.

Here’s a screenshot of what a war POV looks like for 85% or more of the war. This is AFTER the change to give every group member unique icons. Try to find the group members in this screenshot.

Long ago i made suggestions to fix a lot of this. I may be worth the time to revist those revisions. Basically this problem is solve with more conditions on the bars that are snowing. For example in wow you can sort friendly bars on/off, enemy bars on/off.

In new world it may be beneficial to have the same options, as well as sorting group members on and off.

IT may also be advantageous to set the group icons to purple instead of blue.
