The best build I’ve found so far at chasing is great axe (with bloodlust) and the GS. Eat zephyr cakes.

You can catch up to anyone. However, a bow with zephyr cakes or a hatchet with zephyr cakes can possibly still run away if you don’t pin them down. No one else can really escape.

They need to nerf the bow’s mobility. I’m not sure about the hatchet.

light dex dodge is 40. I play dex it crystal clear above. Yeah all those feared heavy dex players they are everywhere apparently.

actually no you don’t say anything about dex and neither does Timayy. A heavy armor user could have 150 dex as well so that makes your whole argument invalid. Timayy is correct that heavy and light have the same doges, medium is the only one with extra.

You all and those imaginary heavy dex users. Sure you could have 150 dex in heavy, but I am going to bet you don’t 100 percent of the time in the current game build.

I agree that build is strong to Hunt people Down. But they Can still do ton og mistakes and yet escape you with 5x freedom :joy:

Hatchet berserk just lasts for Way 2,long and its 2 powerful, you regian health, prettymuch no one Can catch you and if someone hits you hard you Got defy death proccing.

I Think what people are getting sick of is this whole run run run run playstyle. We are playing a PvP game not a running simulator.!

Maybe from a number of frames point of view, but Light Dodge covers more distance allowing repositioning/escape. The best mitigation is not taking damage at all.

what kinda bs arguement is that? i should absolutely not be allowed to stay on point because i deal 10% more dmg then a medium bruiser who can soak dmg like crazy? why because i have a longer (range-wise) eyeframe? ur joking right

you guys should seriously stop jabbering after the clueless devs. talking about high risk high reward for light armor, when there is no high reward active. Have you actually ever compared light and medium dmg numbers? go put on a blunderbuss or something, do your dmg rotations in both armor classes and tell me again that light players should instantly blow up when they step into the point because its such a high reward armor class

I actually agree with this, I am hoping when the PTR hits it is soemthing like:

Light: +20% DMG
Medium: +0% DMG
Heavy: - 20% DMG

I think the damage bonus needs to match the healing bonus pattern for the risk/reward to be true.

ima dex player and also find it annoying when they run away. however i also understand it since we are really squishy and easily die if we make a big mistake and get too close to the combat. i also however do not sit 100+m away from the fighting. im maybe at least 20m most of the time 30-40m away. but with these changes the devs clearly want to get rid of or make every other build besides melee useless to play.

as of recent, dex has finally become prevalent and usefull in wars now. for like 8 months dex MAYBE had 1 slot per war just cuz it was useless to play in wars.

ikr lmao. light armor is such a big meta right now that 95% of ppl in wars still use medium armor. these devs really have zero idea whats going on in their own game. they say they play it. but they play it on their own secret servers that has 99% less population than the rest of the game. bunch of clowns thinking they know the meta lmfao

Yeah the majority of complaints aren’t really about wars. They are OPR gripes, and most revolve around two things musket players, and bow players. Dex light builds to be specific. So in order to combat the above they will make changes that will hurt Bow more, and reward Musket for doing what it all ready does well rock camp, all at the expense of the poor mages, and healers.

Then there is the PVE meta which has become LF str light, full ward, hatchet bane torrent dps. Of course this all started with them trying to distinctly separate the armor weights, while removing paladins and other build diversity. The more they lean into separating them the more a clear Bis meta for each part of the game, will emerge and be forced down peoples throats.

I mean it should be apparent just by looking at in game drop armor nobody working on the game tried to maximize anything. Have you ever seen a Light set drop with a chest piece that has med armor values, or a med set drop with a mix of heavy and light? Nope it drops in one un-optimized flavor always.

Even the people trying to give me grief with false equivalents above recognize the issue. They state as much in other threads. I am just getting sick of trying to out play all these ghosts(Heavy dex players)

I have honestly stopped caring I will just theory craft and re-roll when needed, and laugh that mangled corrupted elk still have more hp then most things in the game many levels higher. If they can’t even tune the mobs in the game what is to make me believe they can tune/balance pvp by separating the classes more? It just makes balance that much more complicated. Most people complaining also completely ignore EHP.

Dex has always ben usefull in wars, people just have 0 clue how to play it and most dex players always play “their own game” in wars, and that just have 0 impact in a war. if they understand teamplay where the key to success maybe they would have ben used in more wars. Even now muskets/bows are rarely usefull, so few squads do actually pull it off still after 4k+ hours they still think statpadding on random targets is the play. instead of working as a group.

Yes dex are squishy if you play 50-100 con, but that is YOUR choice to do that so you can 2 shot other players, coz you dont want to play teamplay. And are 2 bad at comboing so you need your basic attacks to hit like a truck to have kill potentiel. you could ez go 200 con and still be killing way more than you would with 50-100con if you where working together with your group.

So that you make a choice to be squishy should never be giving you an advandage of being capable of outrunning nearly everything even tho you in first place did a mistake to let them catch you.

It literally makes no sense to weaken light armor. Light armor is weak enough. This is the worst idea I have heard the devs come up with. They seem totally clueless.

They want to make light armor explode in PvP but are okay with 5 CON hatchet players in M10s.

We dnt really know the specifics of the changes, but I am hoping it also addressing the Musket advantage when defending.

Add more maps better for different things, then make them random, and if you really want to go all out remove changing gear once loaded into the map. Just an option.

We dont have to. We play light armors so we know there is no place to make it even weaker.

Changes can be done to light armor, but with some bonuses. Light does die in 3-5hits to anything, while not doing much more dmg than other armor types. It does say 20% but its to base dmg. When you add all math to that its way less. And if you add enemy resists reality is you get like 5-8% more dmg and ahve longer dodges but you dit at least 4-5hits before medium would die, have less iframes and mele slow is 1.5sec instead 1sec medium has.

Today… i came because in PVE i got beaten by a lvl 60 Brimstone Ancient Archer… because i wear light gear. The frigging lifesteal on void gauntlet the self heal thats Not dependend on focus a regeneration potion… all for naught.

… frigg 100 con… frigg potions … frigg armor… frigg pve… frigg lightwear … frigg a dev team who instead of nerfing the responsible weapons… nerv THE MAGE CLASS AGAIN

you know “frying eggs” … like in… if i knew you worked for the company i would instantly loose all interest and take my ovaries somewhere else. I will tell my gay best friend that you are not fun. I would tell my dog and cat that you are a bad human. I would not gift you chocolate on your birthday. I will never again like any future updates. I consider quitting the game because i can only pve in lower areas.
