Weapon Balancing Thought for Devs

Maybe this is a far reach, but would it really be that hard to tweak small numbers on a hotfix patch?

For example, every Thursday, a small server shutdown, 2-minute patch, back up again for buff/nerfs on weapons. It would speed up the balancing process for sure. we can’t wait once a month for huge weapon shifts, small tweaks can be a real thing.

Big weapon changes like mechanic changes on damage/abilities or even the weapon damage itself changes could be on par with big updates, which is fine, but if the VG is obviously wrecking everything, would it be too hard to hot fix it? reduced healing from 30% to 25% or something. Ice gauntlet dealing damage procs twice? reduce damage by 20% to compensate until it’s fixed and big change comes in.

I’m not personally attacking these weapons so don’t rage on me because you think one of these weapons are balanced.

I’m not a coder so I’m not sure how this goes or if it’s a far reach with the system but the idea of small weapons tweaks on mini-patches is the main thesis.

Would be nice to see more frequent balancing changes, rather than leave it for 3 months and maybe fix it later… but then again this game could have been released 2 years later and still have tons of issues as it does now.

It’s AGS, doing stuff that makes logical sense isn’t how they operate. Doing a weekly tweak would be way more efficient then these monthly nukes that destroy weapons. Little over a week and I’m off this sinking ship of a trash tier company.
