Weapon coatings Suggestions

Two suggestions. I dont know a single scenario where you would want to apply coatings to both weapons and use different ones. Can we make these not weapon specific like honing stones?

Can we get them colored different by coating type? Make them easier to quickly pick out in bags.

I would definitely appreciate them being easier to identify.

Also maybe each type is a different hue but each teir is a different shade of that hue.
