Weapon does not show gem effect

Hi there doods,

Yesterday I dropped an Amrine Great Axe from the lvl 25 dungeon and it actually has pretty good stats, but more importantly, it look badass af!
But there’s a catch, it doesn’t show the glow effect of the gem I put in it. I thought it was a bug but after switching to an axe skin I got it started glowing, then switching back to the original weapon skin it stopped showing the effect again.

Is that working as intended? If so, what a shame, it would be extra cool if it showed those cool gem effects on it.

My weapons started doing this yesterday along with some of my friends. Doesn’t matter if it is skin or no skin, no particle effects.

I just logged and it is still the same, seems intentional unfortunately.
