Weapon swap fails most of the time

I’m really tired of having to wait for a second or even more for the weapon to swap.

I’m tired of having to stop doing light and heavy attacks to swap the weapon. Having to press the swap weapon bound key twice or multiple times for it to fucking react.

If you press the swap weapon key your current attack must be cancelled and the weapon swap must take preference.

Light and heavy attacks MUST NOT prevent weapon swapping. That is EXACTLY what happens now.

Weapon swaps must be immediate.

This is unnaceptable in PVP.
This is a really bad user experience.
This completely ruins the combat experience.
This is an odd behaviour.
This is wrong by design.

And I know that probably the first reply will be that I should stop spamming single attacks like an ape. But NO. It’s not about that. This is a completely WRONG behaviour in an MMORPG. And it’s a basic thing.

I’ve NEVER seen this SO WRONG behaviour in an MMORPG before, and I’ve been playing MMORPG’s since 2001 (and I was not a WoW Player)

ps. This also happens when using potions & consumables. Light and Heavy attacks prevents using them.

Yeah it’s pretty wicked, we played ESO and Destiny before New World.

This happens in IG skills for me. The weapon just bugs out the game. I almost get an aneurysm every time IG bugs out my light rolls, and I’m doing med/heavy hops instead.

It’s why I play SnS and Hatchet, because the weapon swaps to Axe or Mace sometimes feels like I am lifting my whole right hand off of the mouse and tapping 2…2…2…2 and grabbing the mouse when I see the weapon swap.

It really does feel quite sluggish
