Weapon swap still doesn't work, combat still feels clunky, still plagued by multiple combat relevant bugs, skips, glitches, freezes, and rubber banding

Is this an OPR specific issue? Since the last patch I have actually seen what I would call a noticeable difference in tanking / being able to block responsiveness. In the past there are plenty of moves that would hit me as I was stuck in an animation lock, but this past week it has been much more responsive and allowed me to get a shield up on attacks I know would have landed a week ago.

You might use shift+leftclick till it’s fixed :wink:

Indeed, just took the family to Spider-Man, it was $76 for tickets, popcorn, and drinks. Interestingly, the movie played from beginning to end with no glitches, bugs, exploits, down-time, or attempts to release another movie before the existing movie had finished.

Somehow, gaming is the only industry where you’re expected to pay for a non-functional product and when that product doesn’t work and you take exception you’re the impatient entitled one.

Many game breaking bugs can’t be known in this game until you’ve got 300+ hours, many game breaking bugs are introduced after you’ve paid $40 and 300+ hours.

It’s cool if you’re satisfied with your purchase and experience, many people aren’t. If you have counters and evidence to what we’re concerned about then please engage in something constructive. That we’re amateurs and whiners isn’t going to get very far.

Core mechanics are what should refined with all energy and work.

When developers see that with less work have more moneys( store and cosmetic) , they never polished the game because needs more work.
I see in td2, or valhalla, store and cosmetics = easy money, less fatigue.
But worst game.

Being an hypocrite for comparing a 2H movie with a game one played more than 300 hours - check. Still the cheapest form of entertainment, by far.

Ye ok , how dare they celebrate Xmas while bugs are still in the game . Better cancel out all they have planned and worked on . U will still have bugs and no winter event , guess that somehow wuld made u more happy ? Or u really think that same ppl who work on Xmas cosmetic stuff are same ppl responsible for the weapon swap bug fixing etc ?

love the game palyed 400 -500 h but i give up on the fluidity of the pvp i only play for pvp and its supper unrewarding/clunky i think its pointless to add new content when you have game breaking bugs that ruin the whole experience

The weapon swap is what drives me crazy. In major battle it takes 3-4 time spamming the swap button before anything happens. By then you are likely dead.

Correct, as with any other profession in the world, if the product you delivered was unsatisfactory things like Christmas, vacations, and generally anything besides your unsatisfactory product probably aren’t on the calendar until you get it right.

I realize there’s people that are satisfied, I’m ok with that. I realize there are people that wanted content over bug fixes, I’m ok with that. I’m not satisfied and I didn’t want content over bug fixes.

Oh, I think you might not have read the whole thread. The movie was in response to a comparison to a movie by someone else. I believe his point was that because it was cheaper than a movie and had been played for some determinate amount of time it was ok for it to not work.

Regardless, the fact remains that a product you charge for should work.

As one who loves the new update, it is definitely soured a bit every time my weapons fail to swap and get stuck in combat… I’m suddenly glitched with my bow out but visually on my bar, my spear is active. Here I am, point-blank-range trying to hit someone with a bow when I think my spear should be out.

Pleaseeeee fix weapon swapping. It’s a hugely impactful game mechanic that affects LITERALLY EVERYTHING YOU DO.

Better no events but see and know that are working on bug and combat.

This event is just a joke , a palliative. Gameplay is the same bugged and clunky, some snowing lands are useless.

I bet that in march there wil be spring events and we will be here andxsay the same tgings : is only a 2 min work, they are working on gameplay, teams are different ecc ecc…"

600 hrs bow. Combat feels amazing. Buffer punishes left mouse spammers, as it should. As for wep swap issues, clunkiness, rubber banding, I never experience these things. Are we playing the same game? Maybe its a problem on your end.

You dont know what is a good action souls combat , i mean.

After heavy attack if you press dodge pg will attend that recover animation is end before dodge= urresponsive and clunky

When you press attack , the animation not start immediatly because game has to wait if you want to make light or heavy, so animation start when you release the mouse key not when you touch the key= clunky and sensation of input lag.

When you perform some skill, pg not start immediatly light attack but has to wait that recover animation is end= clunky and not smpot chaining action

Queque input are totally bad= clunky sensation

There is not parry,no sprint attack, no fast attack after dodge= limited combat and moveset

Enemy are not staggered by light or heavy attack, and very often start their grit attack during you are hit them. And without possibity to cancel recover animation after light or heavy attack you are hitten by enemy because you are locked in a recover animation .

Enemy just slide or make 180° animation on ground to close the distance to you and hit, their animation not follow body movements.

Enemy attack push you on the ground like you are a 2k pocket and not a heavy warrior in plate.

Hitbox are atrocious, you are hit by enemy before anination touch you.

All theese problem are not “on sensation” but are core and structural problem that has to be delayed from game !!!

No, not playing same game.

Buffer windows have nothing to do with LA spam.

You’re going to get knuckleheads that come in here saying 1 of 2 things

  2. Well the game launches so it works technically
