I’ll make this as quick as possible. Please add insight to how weapon swaps feel for your builds.
The general consensus is we need faster weapon swaps for ability combos. The latest change for this made little to no effect on the smoothness of swapping weapons. I and many others feel this needs to happen seamlessly and as quickly as possible. Not just for my build but every build. Combos are essential.
In addition not being able to swap weapons while dodging is tough for light armor wearers. Constantly having to check that the correct weapon is equipped in the middle of PvP feels bad. Thoughts?
I agree that weapon swapping is not as fast or reliable as it should be. Even in PVE, there are many times when I think I’m using melee and I’m firing projectiles instead because my weapons haven’t swapped. Perhaps the weapon swap doesn’t happen if an ability is on cooldown? Whatever the case, better swapping would be very appreciated.
TBH I would be ok with the speed of weapon swapping. It just sucks when I weapon swap and it bugs out the Skills and can’t use them. I then have to swap weapons and then swap again.
Yes on top of it not feeling smooth it’s clunky and buggy. I’m not even trying to address that because i know it’s not intentional. But having to complete my weapon draw animation after a dodge roll is just too long to switch weapons.
Also I found a new fun thing today where if you side step left, right quick enough in the middle of a weapon swap animation your weapon won’t equip until you move in one direction long enough. So you can dance side to side without a weapon fully wielded. Just make it instant please ags it’s my #1 of your game. Other than that very happy
