Describe the issue you are experiencing: switching weapons some times it causes the switch not to happen, I see the switches weapon skill bar but the character either casts the “old weapon” abilities or doesn’t cast at all.
Is this a bug or an exploit: bug
(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: died in PvP battles a couple of times and had to retreat a lot in PvE encounters

What are the steps to reproduce the issue as you experienced: rapidly switch weapon, I noticed that it has a higher chance of occurring if character is performing another animation like parkour or casting.
UPDATE: I have found a way to smooth things up, the issue persists on some rapid switches during other animations but less so. The way I got it better was to unbind the weapon switch key and keep only weapon 1 and weapon 2 keys.
Me and friends get this a lot where weapon switching does not happen. Limiting the game to 3 active skills and not allowing switching is game breaking. It is especially lethal for levelling life staff where you need to damage the mob to get skill gain but cant then switch to a dps weapon to actually kill it. This is especially bad if the mob brings friends (which happens too often but is another reported bug)
weapon switching in pvp is worst thing i ever feel
got hammer and life staff.
Im switching to hammer , using skills then switching to life staff , place heal, switching back to hammer and WHAT ? i got ACTIVE life staff with shown hammer skills. And yes. when i use skills - i use skills of active weapon in hands. not this one active in right corner shows
issue isnt fixed. its even much worse in outpost rush. especially after doing path of destiny or throwing a grav well. character just gets stuck in an animation.
Same here, I was able to use great axe charge while my true active weapon was warhammer. Rubber bands back because the charge is invalid but very confusing in heavy combat.
How is this issue still not solved? worst feeling ever when in the middle of combat weapon switch doesn’t happen and either waste a cd or your ability not going off.
I still get this bug just using a standard weapon swap standing still by myself (or in town)
I swap from S/S to Hammer, and my S/S is still out when I see what my char is using I use an ability to find out I either can’t or I do a hammer ability on the same hotkey- or It auto swaps back to my S/S making the swap need another keystroke to get it to work ie: spam weapon swap until it works…
