Describe the issue you are experiencing: Basically, if you are running “Intensify” and/or “Bend Light” weapon talents (which, in unison, effectively increase your healing by an extra 50% that can be refreshed ) the buffs will get REMOVED upon consuming a mana potion. I am speechless. This is massive nerf to healing throughput. This also happens with offensive weapon buffs.

(if a bug) How did the issue effect your gameplay: I am losing out on 50% extra healing as a healer, and DPS/Tanks are losing out on any weapon talent-applied offensive buffs any time they consume ANY consumable (pots/food/etc.)

This is a GAME BREAKING BUG that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY.
Having tested this with something like the Great Axe where passives are triggered within proximity to enemies, the passives for Bloodlust, Center of Attention, and Crowded Protection WILL NOT FUNCTION after using a consumable and WILL ONLY REACTIVATE AFTER SWAPPING to a secondary weapon and then swapping back to the Great Axe.
The wars that are going to be taking place tonight are going to be massively affected and experiences in dungeons are going to be heavily hampered by this bug. Please tend to this immediately!!!
Thank you so much for posting. This bug is ESSENTIAL to fix ASAP for content progression. Folks are losing out on massive buffs that are paramount to be able to do your respective rotations.
Thank you for originally bringing this bug to light and with video evidence. Really hoping we can get some assistance or acknowledgement of this issue before it persists for far too long.
I came to the forums for a different reason, but I think they might actually be the same.
Before this patch, weapon buffs would only disappear when you switch weapons. They wouldn’t disappear when sheathing the weapon. For example, the bow has a 5s damage buff after dodging. If you dodged with the bow, you’d get the buff. If you sheathed the bow, you’d still have the buff. If you switched to your other weapon, you’d lose the buff.
After this patch, these buffs are disappearing as soon as you sheath your weapon.
I’m guessing that using a consumable behaves similarly to sheathing your weapon and that’s what is causing this issue. I really hope this is a bug and it’s not intentional because it makes no sense to remove buffs if that weapon is still technically your active weapon. You gain no advantage to having your weapon sheathed so I don’t see how having buffs active while your weapon is sheathed would provide any kind of advantage.
This is exactly what I was looking for. Noticed this tonight running m4’s.
Upon consuming any potions, focus/mana/health/regen, it removes both intensify and bend light at the minimum. Multiple times tonight I’ve had all my fortifies reset as well upon drinking a pot however I can’t get those results to repeat outside of the expedition so I may be going crazy with the fortify.
The fortify one seems a bit odd because I don’t think fortify should be related to a specific weapon. However, the LS buffs being removed when drinking a mana pot is a great example of this issue. I really hope it’s resolved soon. And I hope it was unintentional across the board. My worry is that they intended to make buffs fall off when sheathing the weapon and the consumables problem was just an unintended side effect.
There is absolutely 0 reason to wipe buffs when sheathing your weapon whether it’s an actual sheath or using a consumable.
