The PVP in ESO is the only reason why I won’t go back to it. I miss everything else though and I have to agree about the care ESO receives. If they could fix the PVP, especially the siege, I would run back in a heartbeat <3
Cyro is the most fun I have ever had, until everyone gets booted in the middle and the heat of the battle. Then get booted over and over again while its going on. Its like giving a baby its favorite candy and yanking it away just as soon as they closed their eyes in pure and utter enjoyment, lol
I played ESO since day one as well as New world. No one would have claimed ESO’s dev team cared about the game or players with how bug ridden that game was at launch. Comparing an established game that went through its own saga of problems for years to a game less then 2 months old isn’t really a fair comparison unless you compare them equally.
same, even with 230+ latency lore is alright, I think PVE wise its in a much better state I wish it had NW’s combat system tho, I def miss the low ping 
They clearly had no idea on direction between PVE and PVP with the current state of the game. With the amount of bugs and issues they need to get back to the drawing board, this is clearly a better PVP game stick with it sort it out and perhaps fix the PVE side of things when adding additional content in the new year.
The dupes hit New World harder, though. Solely because the way their economy is designed to work. A player run, player driven economy with no NPC vendors needs way more stability and a much higher player base. Otherwise it fades very quickly.

It’s also on the higher ups who ran things. Amazon literally released a third of the workforce during covid drama, individuals who were helping develop New World. That shows in the product we got.
Hands down, if the mmo genre playerbase wasn’t so starved for a NEW MMO, New World would have faded away like most of the Korean import ones do. The game is simply just ok. Add in the crazy amount of issues they’re having and the fact they literally possess the same amount of content that APB did when it launched, and that ‘OK’ quickly degrades into ‘bad’ territory.
It’s Amazon so I’d bet a lot of the team were working on H1B visas which explains the terrible coding as well. Last company I worked for did that too and broke stuff on our apps/website often as a result.

No doubt, and then there’s the animation cancelling, the ball group exploitation, it goes on and on.

But yet took enough time to respond in a thread that you apparently don’t see the reasoning behind it…ironic?
This is an open forum to a game I PAID my money for. If I want to post long winded paragraphs about vacating the game for a time…I can. You don’t like it…don’t click on it. No one is asking you to read anything. This isn’t rocket science.
THis game will be better 6 years after launch than ESO is now. That’s coming from 800+ CP ESO player.
LOL good luck, in ESO skills take 5 tries to go off. Its a theme park MMO, overland is so easy you can kill everything while day dreaming. Housing is impressive. PVP is absymally laggy and has been for years, frequent Qs/Crashes/postion desyncs etc. No pvp content has been added in over 3 years.

I’d recommend trying out Albion Online rather than going back to ESO.
Nah, it’s an exploit. Always. ESO admitted as much early on, but when they couldn’t fix it they just acted like its legit.
What theyre not admitting is that they werent expecting the game to be as big as it became, not that it wasnt ready.
A couple years ago they made some kind of changes that made the game completely unplayable anywhere, it felt so intensely laggy… I have no idea what that was about but I only started playing it again last year or so when they put out an update and fixed it
I just wish they would consider ranked bg matches, I always got overwhelmed in large groups but I find it a lot easier to focus in a small group
