What armour set for ice Gauntlet/Fire Staff Build?

Do i need to wear all Light armour or is there a piece that i need Heavy/Medium etc?

Any feedback would be welcome :slight_smile:

Depends on your gameplay style. If you play in a group and can dodge light armour is ok. If you play solo you may want to think of a combo of heavy light and medium to get you just under 23 for a medium armour score which gives a bit more survivability. I play solo {Healer} and use medium armour stats as I die too easy to mobs in light armour. I don’t PVP and can’t give you any advice on that.

if you look at your character when tabbed at the side there is a scale as long if you are under 11 it is light armour under 23 medium above 23 is heavy
if you use heavy chest heavy head, light gloves light boots and I think medium legs. you want the armour stats to scale with your weapon abilities and constitution. play around with it. If you really struggle go for all heavy armour till you lvl up a bit

im not struggling as such unless i pull like 5 mobs haha, i just like the roll for evasion, i was thinking light gloves shoes and hat and medium rest maybe?

To keep that light armor bonus Your set can’t weigh more than 13kg. Here are the combinations You can use for that:

  • Helm(L:1.5kg), Chest(L:3.5kg), Gloves(L:1.5kg), Pants(M:3.5kg), Boots(M:2.6kg) - total 12.6kg
  • Helm(L:1.5kg), Chest(L:3.5kg), Gloves(M:2.6kg), Pants(M:3.5kg), Boots(L:1.5kg) - total 12.6kg
  • Helm(M:2.6kg), Chest(L:3.5kg), Gloves(L:1.5kg), Pants(M:3.5kg), Boots(L:1.5kg) - total 12.6kg
  • Helm(M:2.6kg), Chest(L:3.5kg), Gloves(L:1.5kg), Pants(L:2.0kg), Boots(M:2.6kg) - total 12.2kg

L - light, M - medium, H - heavy (You can’t use any heavy)

Be aware that some items named “medium” are actually light (they have weight and stats of a light item). Also I may be wrong, but any option of wearing two light items is pretty equal in terms of defense to wearing only medium chest armor (chest armor has highest defense stats).

To maximize defensive values:

If you want heavy, go full heavy.

If you want medium, go heavy head, heavy chest, medium hands, medium feet, light legs.

If you want light go medium chest, light everything else. You still get your dodge roll and are maybe a few % less squishie than being all light.
