ive only played for a few scant hours, but so far

love : visuals, action combat, resource gathering is chill

dislike : travelling is kinda tedious without some form of speed boost (mount or sprint)

Do you have all the fast travel shrines discovered? Cause once you have all of them, foot travel decreases significantly.

There’s those alligators.

no it’s not. Grab a musket and see your shots go right through the enemy’s body.

This guy went for alligators which have a specific to them push back mechanic that looks like “Desync”…and he got TWO of them lmao,…these people I tell ya. You haters really need to get a life.

Love

  • Map Design
  • Sound Design
  • Art Design
  • Animation & Animation Cancelling

Like

  • Looting
  • Harvesting
  • Crafting
  • Fishing

Dislike

  • Daily Limits
  • No proper Filters on the Marketplace (borderline unusable)
  • Bugs since the Alpha still in the game (e.g. bouncing up and down while mining)

Hate

  • All content is made for a 1-time playthrough (why no procedurally generated expeditions or dungeons or other side areas?!)
  • Repeating quests with rewards so useless, they are not worth doing
  • No proper storyline
  • The majority of NPCs are not voiced
  • The only random element in the game are corrupted breaches, and they spawn on timers in static locations (why no other random events like meteors which spawn veins, small groups of NPCs of any random faction like pirates attacking a town, fish crazes, random growths of Wyrdwood Trees or irontrees in random locations which replace regular ones, etc. etc. etc.)
  • Endgame is to reach gold cap and nothing else (no real other target or is included in gold cap s.a. crafting)

Lol

lol nowhere near. of the entire map i can see at this point in the game, ive only got about 4 or 5 of them unlocked.

i will just try and unlock more. ive already hit an azoth cap probably because im not teleporting around as much as i should, but i dont seem to be able to teleport when im not in a town or actually at a shrine

You can teleport to the inn or to any of your 4 homes from anywhere literally. Not just from another shrine or town.

Wherever you are out in the world, go to the nearest fast travel shrine which shouldn’t be that far, and fast travel back to the settlement you need to go to. When you are done with a quest, your goal isn’t to walk back to settlement, but to the closest shrine. Once you have a house, it’s even easier because then you don’t even have to travel to the closest shrine. You can travel straight to your house from wherever you are. and then fast travel from that settlement to the settlement you need to go to.

you can only do that every 30mins cant you?

Housing travel you can reset anytime if its still on cooldown for really cheap amount of Azoth. Inn is 30 mins. Although you only get 3 houses not 4.

You can do it every 30 min for your inn recall, but house travel cooldown reset is unlimited. Costs 10 Azoth lol. Almost free.

You can always reset the house cooldown fir really cheap. So you can always travel to a house. Which gets you to a settlement and can fast travel to any shrine or settlement from there.

It’s so cheap it doesn’t count as a “cost”. You now have total freedom of movement but it’s not well known to the players it seems.
